    Obama beat Clinton because his signature issue, opposition to the Iraq invasion, was in sync with Democrat primary voters and the general public. What signature issue would a moderate Republican have that would be in sync with Republican primary voters and the general public?

    A moderate Republican won't make it past the primaries. The party has become more conservative than even 2012, emboldened by the wins in gerrymandered congressional districts with small minority populations. Ronald Reagan would be too liberal for them.

    So the Republicans want to go to court because Obama made a change that they agree with, but have butthurt because they didn't make the change, he did. So then they should pass a law making the change instead of once again wasting taxpayer's money.

    Recall that he's only been a forward for a couple years. He was a defenseman that the Kings wanted to try at forward when in the AHL.

    I'd prefer Makarov stay in Roch and get playing time rather then sit on bench in Buffalo. Get Marty Biron to fill in, he's already on the Pegula payroll at Harborcenter. Yes the rule is different for goalies. The league always wants two goalies dressed in case of injury. They had Irbe sign a pro contract between periods. He could have played.

    Actually Gordie played a full season on a minor league team as a first year pro, and then played one game in the minors in his last pro year.

    Well since the red areas that support gun control have more people than the green who don't, I'm not sure what your point is. Feel free to compare the state of Alaska to New York City and tell us how size matters.

    Paul Hamilton has said that Nolan repeatly shows the players in practice where they should be, but then in games they panic and don't go where they were told to go. Some players are not disciplined enough to stick to the plan.

    That could have been because of bad ice. The Aud wasn't air conditioned, and it got hot in there, thus the 'fog' games.

    But it's hard to read stuff when the blood drains from viewer's heads while watching the FoxNews bunnies in their short dresses.

    I hate Flo from Progressive. I listen to stations like WGR through TuneIn, and she is on every commercial break no matter what station I'm listening to. I also hate the WGR commercial with the roofing guy who gets all philosophical and does things like compares roofing to the Crusades.

    That happened to me when I was coaching a few years ago. Got hit on the head while on the bench twice within a couple weeks. After second, woke up the next day with room spinning and it wouldn't stop. Wife and son had to help me into car to go to ER. Had Vertigo, and had to stay in bed for a couple days. It took over a month before I felt normal. But I still play hockey, and the occasional bump to the head still makes me dizzy.

    Bills game, coverage starts at 4pm. Sabres on WBEN. I'll DVR the Sabres as I usually do. I fast forward to the good parts, so it doesn't take long to get through a game.

    Who's the idiot who scheduled the Sabres to play on the same weeknight the Bills play? It isn't NYC with 7 pro teams playing now. How hard is it to look at the NFL schedule, which came out first, and make one adjustment for a two sport city.
