  1. But he was also on the ice for 4 goals against. He said that he has to be better. I don't blame Ullmark, the coverage in the slot and around crease has been weak. Gorges got pushed around on one goal. As Mike Robitaiile would say, they need a knuckle dragger with snot coming out of his nose to clear the crease.
  2. They don't have to trade anyone. He will be an unrestricted free agent able to sign with any team.
  3. Keith Jones predicted this week that next year Stamkos will be a Maple Leaf.
  4. What I'm confident with GMTM about is that he is constantly evaluating the talent and trade possibilities for the long term. If Darcy was still here the top centers would be Connelly and Hodgson.
  5. Julian Castro Andrew Cuomo Kirsten Gillibrand John Hickenlooper Jay Nixon Deval Patrick Brian Schweitzer Antonio Villaraigosa I was talking in regards to congressional elections. I should have clarified.
  6. Not really, usually Democrats coalesce behind the moderate candidate who will appeal to the most voters. Bernie says free college for all, Hillary wouldn't give it to the wealthy and would require those that get it to work at least 10 hours a week. She's not anti bank, which would show a lack of understanding of their importance to our economy, but would tighten regulations to avoid another collapse like 2008. Appearently her more moderate and pragmatic proposals appeal to the majority of voters based on her poll numbers.
  7. Just the opposite. Republicans are going to the extreme to appease the right so they don't get primary challenges from Tea Party candidates. That's what happened to Eric Cantor who was the heir appearant to take over for Boehner as Speaker. He lost his primary to a more right winger. There's a section of the Republican Party that believes in a scorched earth policy.
  8. Calm, competent, and knowledgable in the face of scathing partisan badgering. Clinton didn't give the Republicsns the gotcha moment that they wanted, because it's not there. I do fear for the future if this is how Congress will conduct itself going forward.
  9. Perhaps Carson is hoping to be picked as Surgeon General or head of HHS in a Republican cabinet.
  10. Boyes finally wins one for Buffalo.
  11. He needs to fix his lipstick.
  12. I think Lamoriello brought the boring Devil style of hockey to Toronto. Get a goal and sit on it. Boring.
  13. But if you split them up they'd make two D pairings worse.
  14. Need more dump and chase to make the Leaf D turn. They're being too cute.
  15. Shoot the puck!
  16. Haters gotta hate.
  17. Good man. Should have been the nominee in 1988 instead of Dukakis. Clinton's strong debate and latest poll numbers probably convinced him it would be a futile effort.
  18. So it can't really be used as an indicator of support, but an indicator of curiousity. Must be the same regarding Trump.
  19. Question from the old guy: when people say Sanders is doing better on social media, does that mean that they are polling or making positive statements, or is it just counting how many times he's mentioned or searched. When I searched for his voting record on guns, is that counted towards his social media popularity?
  20. They're good enough to be frustrating.
  21. And the lack of production from the Sabres power play.
  22. You can hear some of the individuals yelling given all the empty seats. I feel bad for the players with the lack of support in Miami. Bettman needs to give up and let them move to a city where they'd be appreciated.
  23. That's rediculous. Hillary was in command of the issues and of the debate, and solidified her national lead. She pointed out Sanders weak record on gun control, and his only response was "I come from Vermont". Well you're running to lead the whole country Bernie, not just little Vermont. She also was the only one to defend Planned Parenthood.
  24. Will Millenials vote in the general election if their candidate doesn't win the nomination? I voted for Clinton in the 2008 primary, and for Obama in the general election because the Democrat party offered better proposals, and I didn't want the Supreme Court to regress.
  25. I wish everyone who could vote did vote. I think this country would be in much better shape if the real majority of voters voted. But unfortunately too many people don't, and they're usually younger or lower income.
