On a more positive note, Risto and Zadorov looked natural out there together. When Regier & company drafted them they intended on them one day becoming a pair, and they look like they have instant chemistry and logged big minutes.

Who's the one who said Foligno would be in the AHL if it weren't for his name? -
Which is not likely at all? The Sabre's undressing the Jackets, the Sabre's making 8th seed, or Blues and Islander bottoming out?? You mean what are the chance that all of those variables manifest and translate into reality being highly unlikely??!?? Just my ideal ;)

I never want to go into any season hoping or expecting to tank, however, if it becomes blatantly self-evident that the Sabres aren't making the playoffs towards the end of the season I really can't say I'd hope for them to win. Last year, the Sabre's season was lost within the first 15 games. I don't want that, I want an entertaining season, but like I said I just want to see what we got before I go in rooting for de tenk. Here's my ideal: St. Louis has a string of long-term injuries all year, goalies choke, and get bottom 5 (I know never going to happen), the Islanders bottom 5 (very likely) and then of course the Sabre's get the 8th seed an go allll the wayy UNDRESS THE JACKETS!!!!!!

If I were the coach: Foligno (if completely healthy)-Ennis-Stafford Moulson- Hodgson- Stewart Girgensons- Reinhart- Gionta Larsson/Deslaurier- McCormick- Kaleta Gorges- Myers Meszaros- Ristolainen Benoit- Pysyk 7th - Weber EXplanation: Gorges-Myer --good balance between offence and defense. allows Myers to move the puck and take more chances offensively Meszaros-Risto gives Risto a veteran to learn from. gives a chance for Risto to improve and mature his game Benoit/ Pysyk I just thought this sounded right Foligno.Ennis-Stafford- if Foligno is healthy-- there is a lot of potential chemistry with this line which we have seen before Moulson-Hodgson- Stewart Gives Hodgson two snipers to work with (which he so desperately needed last year.) Girgensons- Reinhart- Gionta - Girgensons would be a GREAT young motivater with his "compete" to guide young Samson. Gionta would be a supreme leader to guide Samson to the big leagues. and bring his confidence up and elevate his game. I could also see Gionta inspire Samson in terms of leadership, which I think, would rub off on him. Finally, Deslaurier/Larsson- McCormick- Kaleta I think this would be a solid fourth line, if this line ever materializes I personally hope Kaleta is on the opening roster, he deserves it more than anyone. Name one single player on the team who has a higher "compete" level than him (Girgensons being an exception)

The Sabres Hockey Hotline with... somebody or other?

lol i was joking he wasn't on for a day -
ISIS is indeed a Muslim extremist organization and the interpretation of this religion plays a BIG ROLE in what's going on. These people kill in the name of their religion, or at least their interpretation of it. "The aim of ISIS is to create an Islamic state across Sunni areas of Iraq and in Syria." although they don't AT ALL REPRESENT THEIR RELIGION they claim to be a part of, it is still identified as a terrorist "extremist muslim" group, or another is "islamofascism". Nevertheless, ISIS has successfully hijacked their own religion IMO

"The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has signed defenseman Chad Ruhwedel to a two-year contract. Ruhwedel (5/7/90, 5'11", 181 lbs) has played in 28 games for the Sabres since signing an entry-level contract with the club in April 2013. While playing for the Rochester Americans in 2013-14, Ruhwedel notched 28 points (4+24) in 47 regular-season games, which ranked him second among the team’s defensemen. He also appeared in five playoff games and recorded five points (2+3), which was second-most on the team. Prior to joining the Sabres organization, he finished three seasons at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he received First-team All-America honors and was named the 2013 Bob Monahan Defenseman of the Year by the New England Hockey Writers Association. Through three seasons with the River Hawks, he appeared in 110 games and amassed 63 points (15+48). The San Diego, Calif. native also played for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League (USHL) for two seasons, tallying 33 points (5+28) through 113 games." per sabres.com
