So I just found out that Vanek only has one more point than Moulson on the year in equal games played, Vanek having one more assist. My question is, do you think it was worth that one extra assist so far for NYI to give up those 1st and 2nd draft picks? Do you think breaking up the alleged chemistry between Moulson-Tavares was worth it? When Vanek walks, I wonder how much they'll regret it from a historical stand-point.... those 1st and 2nd picks....Not to mention when/if (probably when) they defer to 2015, would it be worth that one extra assist to potentially get a Connor McDavid player (in theory)? Damn Darcy really got a bargain I think my question/comment was more rhetorical but feel free to respond lol

It's funny how some of you make the comparison of John Scott being on par with Scott Thornton for "going after Kessel". If you watch the video carefully, it was KESSEL who went after Scott. LOOK AT THE VIDEO Kessel punches Scott before the faceoff is finished and Scott goes after him. Not to mention Toronto put out their star line when Buffalo's 4th line was already out. John Scott is NOT a 'dirty' player, and to call him a dirty player in the same light as Thornton is laughable. You know if Gregory Campbell didn't play for the Bruins we'd all be looking at felony assault charges. Yeah John Scott is a dirty player.

i just think it would be a fair trade but yeah that would be a good idea for Darcy. idk cos FLA could use a veteran defenceman like Leopold, perhaps paired with Campbell? a veteran d-man would work well with different time who need d-men for sure though i think it would be wise to look at all the option. very true. very true. i stil think Gerbe is slightly better and more mature. I'd love see grigs on ascoring line as well maybe next year or later in the season

and idk why everyones like "scratch gerbe over grigs" gerbe is clearly the better player at this stage of development
