  1. I think the only real value in winning now is the difference between talking a free into joining a 6-10 team and an 8-8 team. I'm fine with people who don't want them to lose. It's not a crazy concept. However, any notion that winning two games at the end of a lost season with potential changes afoot is absolutely nonsense, in my opinion. There's over eight months until their next game after these final two. It's not going to factor into next year. I can say that with confidence. There's probably nothing more than a coincidental difference between, say, 15 to 18... But I'm sure it wouldn't take much to show a difference between the bottom of the top ten and the bottom of the teens.
  2. Isn't a lightsaber fight in a forest just as new as a bigger Death Star? It's something they've done before just in a different place... Which is the same as "something they've done before but bigger with a different purpose." The biggest complaints are the plot holes in this movie, but I don't see any of them as "plot holes." It's the first movie of a trilogy with three other "spin off" movies set. They're more "open-ended" or "unanswered questions" than holes. I'll certainly look at them as holes if we don't get answers to some major points later in the movies. I wonder if we'll get an origin story for Finn.

He was paid to be a top six player. You can pay a player as much money for a different role, but that's not the case with Moulson. He's not performing for what he was paid to do.
  5. McCoy, Clay and Bradham out Sunday.
  6. As in 1-2-3 or 4-5-6? It's a "spoiler" in more of a figure of speech sorta way. Some believe "The Dark Knight Rises" is actually a reference to Joseph Gordon Levitt's character because of the way he's on a rising platform at the very end. "Spoiler" in interpretation.
  7. Bills fan year in review
  8. Ironically I wouldn't know. I don't follow many players as I don't care about their tweets much aside from a few exceptions. If they tweet anything important I follow enough people that would retweet it onto my feed. If you're a casual "Twitterer," though, it's worth following them all. The very occasional tweets they have wont clog your feed and will give you insight into them.
  9. No doubt in my mind.
  10. The Bills currently hold the 16th pick in the draft: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl-draft-scout/25422740/nfl-draft-updated-draft-order-through-week-15 If they lose this week they can move all the way up to number 10 if the following happens: Raiders beat Chargers Eagles beat Washington Giants beat Vikings Lions beats 49ers Saints beat Jaguars Any non-tie in Bucs/Bears It appears they can get up to seven with the right combination over the last two weeks considering matchups and not counting ties.
  11. This thread feels like a great idea as many fellow Sabrespacers either hate or don't understand how to use social media. Twitter is a GREAT source for information. Many posters, like myself, are quick to post relevant information here... But I'm sure we've got at least a few that would like to view it all for themselves. If you feel comfortable posting your own handle on here I will make another list of Sabrespace Twitter accounts.
  12. "Often" was likely a stretch for "casual" people. If you actively look at content it's more likely to pop up here or there. I've personally only seen it used maybe two or three times in a context aside from defining itself.
  13. Sal Capaccio @SalSports Whaley also told me (as he said previously) they like Tyrod's development but won't hesitate to protect themselves incase he's not the guy. Very smart. I like Tyrod more than I did a month or so ago, but I'm still far from convinced. And I doubt I will be as the running will always be a worry for me.
  14. I'm no expert. As it has been explained to me they believe that gay men actually have a females spirit inside of them. That's a very simple way of viewing it from what I've been told.
  15. Just stick with LGBT. Throw the Q on the end if you want. It's more than acceptable. That's just another example of a longer one.
  16. Nobody disagrees with NS but it's not a realistic standard considering the climate of today. On 2-Spirt: no. Two-Spirit is a First Nations belief that two identities exist within one body. Could be man and woman, woman and man, man and man, woman and woman... Etc.
  17. Fair. Totally fair. There are plenty of people who hate her for valid reasons. There are many who do so partially because she's a woman gunning for "their" White House.
  18. Thought you meant dismissing the criticisms from this board after I posted my original thought. Misunderstood, my apologies. But, regardless, for the millionth time: I'm dismissing the excessive nature of the criticisms. Not the criticisms themselves.

He shouldn't replace anybody in our top six and isn't playing well enough to be in it. That was my point. He SHOULD be in there based on his contract but he isn't.
  20. It's not that simple in the world today and likely never will be. I wish it were, but even I, defender of utopian views, don't believe it. They don't. I'm not sure why you think the acronym infers that they do. They're certainly part of a similar community of different individuals who are marginalized in different ways.
  21. That's fine. I'm not trying to convince anybody of it as its one of those things you'd have to decide for yourself. It's not like you don't have any clue what I'm talking about. We've all seen the language and criticisms of her. You've already got the material to decide for yourself. Also, I'm not "dismissing" criticisms. I'm addressing them.
  22. Well there's an opportunity to learn there if you aren't sure what two of them are! As far as it putting all into one bucket - there are some that believe LGBT isn't inclusive enough as it ignores several other forms of sexuality/sexual preference/gender identity. I don't see the larger acronyms as problems in any way. Especially knowing that folks are unaware of some of the different parts of the acronym.
  23. In Canada you'll often see "LGBTQQIP2SAA." I believe it's less common in America. Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans Queƫr Questioning Intersex Pansexual 2-Spirit Asexual Ally http://www.yeuphonic.com/lgbtqqip2saa-is-the-correct-acronym/
  24. It's not the specific parts that are unfair but the language and amount by which she must face it. It would take a ton of links and videos to show the differences in language used about her so-called lies and that of male candidate. It's certainly there. Whether it's strong enough to warrant what I said above is going to differ from person to person (most would just dismiss it). Carly Fiorina also has faced gender challenges. So many talk about how she seems to be trying so hard to look like an intimidating presence on the stage. It gives me the impression those people think a woman would be unable to naturally have a strong presence on a stage full of men.
