A typo three one words in!? Hopefully not a sign of how the night will go. Zach Bogosian will wreck someone tonight. -
I’d only be interested if it’s for someone younger with term. Certainly not ready to call it a bad idea without knowing what is out there and where we are.
-
And it’s SUPER unnecessary.
-
Fastest hat trick since the 50s. Akso, Laine is potting four against us now.
-
To be fair, if he finishes at his current pace he won’t be 39th in scoring. Sustaining a point per game pace isn’t easy. I expect he’ll have an uptick in goals very soon. I’m not sure his assist numbers will go much lower but getting to 70 assists is rare.
-
It’s arbitrary, certainly. I would prefer more goals but the production is certainly there.
-
I mean the WR corps, lack of a good offensive line and lack of depth at corner are all other areas where they’re not doing a good job in. Also, Nate Peterman is not the lone bad decision made at quarterback.
-
Ignoring the likelihood that his shooting percentage goes up let’s look at it this way: Would you be happy if Jack and Jeff finished the year with the following stat lines? Skinner’s numbers are below current pace while Jack’s are right at current pace. Eichel - 18 goals 68 assists for 86 points Skinner - 45 goals 30 assists for 75 points

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
Hoss replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
Watched Game Night last night based on some recommendations from here. Very funny throughout. Was pleasantly surprised. -
I’m not sure if he was talking about Benjamin or Pryor but WildCard is right - SDS is defensive about the current Bills regime.
-
Brassard also missed practice today. Pens play Buffalo Monday.
-
This is a cap dump for the Kings. They’ve got essentially zero cap coming off the books after this year. This gets them an expiring deal to flip at the deadline and clears Pearson’s salary.
-
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger now Sources say Tanner Pearson is going to the Penguins. Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie now Hagelin for Pearson. One for one. Done deal.
-
To be fair Kelvin Benjamin is a former 1000 yard receiver recovering from this morning’s Taco Bell run.
-
I do think the rules prohibiting them from offering an eighth year until after the deadline will hold this thing up quite a bit.
-
Right now the team is on pace for 100 points which I think is inarguably a great start considering everything this franchise has been for nearly a decade. Come out of each of the next three games with a point and you fall just below that mark at a 97 point pace but to get points in such a tough stretch will help you bump the pace when you get some easier stretches. This is ***** fun.

Pet Peeve -- NHL standings de-emphasize total losses

Ok -
This is correct. It’s Bowser.
-
I do imagine Benjamin’s status as a Beane acquisition is protecting him a bit. Releasing him is admitting defeat even if defeat is sorely obvious.
-
The next big controversy: why the ***** is Kelvin Benjamin still here?
-
Was that even a thing? I heard it a tiny bit when it was revealed Whaley was a dead man walking.
-
They should be much higher.
-
According to?
-
Boston passed on him three times. He’s my Khalil Mack for hockey - I was loudly saying at draft time they would be stars and here we are.

This NFL offseason is actually shaping up to be a good one for the Bills to have some money. The defense isn't the issue RIGHT NOW, but I don't think the group they have right now is generating enough of a pass rush that's sustainable for a couple years. They need a high-end pass rusher. There's quite a few of those. Rumors that Chandler Jones is available via trade and that'd be a great way to spend some money. Demarcus Lawrence in Dallas, Jadeveon Clowney in Houston, Ezekial Ansah in Detroit. Quite a few options. Brandon Graham is a guy I think would be a great vet to add to the defensive line, too. K.J. Wright in Seattle would make this linebacking corps of Edmunds, Milano and Wright elite. Offensive line has a few solid options in Matt Paradis (center) from Denver, Daryl Williams (OT) from Carolina and Roger Saffold (G) from Denver. Add one or two pass rushers and one or two of those offensive lineman and you've solved a ton of problems. Focus on offense in the draft if you sign some of those defenders.
