It's hockey, there are a lot of games. There will be a decent amount of games where you play well and lose due to some bad bounces or a hot goalie, and other games where you deserve to lose but win due to some lucky bounces or hot goaltending of your own. I think the majority of posters have watched hockey long enough to realize games like tonight are not unusual, and the biggest thing is to play consistently well as it will lead to more wins than losses in the long run over the season. I'm on record expecting 87-90 points this year

Nothing? Players don't always score at the same pace/time as they did previous years. Just like there wasn't anything wrong with Dahlin when he didn't open the season with a 5 game goal streak or a 6 game point streak.

They weren't off two days, they practiced yesterday. Looks like he should have given them some time off with the length of the road trip. The fact they look like they are skating in quicksand and can't even make simple passes cleanly is a pretty good indicator. That's what teams that are tired do

Nah, they just didn't have it tonight. It's going to to happen from time to time. Can't skate, can't pass, can't do much of anything out there. Young team growing pains.

I think they are just gassed. They look like they have no energy tonight. Not really concerned, this happens very very infrequently with them.

I doubt it...they look done out there...can't even get shots on goal because they either miss setup passes or get the shots blocked
