I'm really starting to get a man crush on Jost. This dude has been a key player for this team since he has been here at both ends.

It's because they are too focused on trying to turn it into transition...they never turn that off when they have the lead and it leads to mistakes and turnovers. They need to have a code word or something that Donny uses when they need to simply make the smart plays... And that does NOT mean turning it into Defend the Alamo defense.

It's a end result of them trying to constantly turn defensive zone plays into transition instead of playing safer with a two goal lead. Virtually all of the goals they give up when they have more than a 1 goal lead are due to being too aggressive offensively... Kinda like why the Bills Dolphins game last week was so close. Constant aggression on offense is great when it works but leads to defensive turnovers and odd man rushes against when it doesn't.

Tyson Jost has been a revelation for the Sabres since coming here.

Think it says more about how we have such a good, young, exciting team now more than anything... Everyone around the NHL is taking notice. All he needs to do is stay healthy to do that.

Anaheim announcers are losing their mind on the Cousins goal...saying they need seatbelts and to get the tables out...Bills tomorrow and Sabres today ..then the color guy said "I'm ready to jump through the tables right now after seeing that move!!"

It will be a great game, I think the Bills will win ultimately. They are simply a little better in all areas than Cincinnati, the Bengals are missing 3 OLine starters and their line has been atrocious with the players in that are playing(see last year). Also the Bills have the best home record in the playoffs all time in the NFL at 13-1. The one loss is one I was at unfortunately (Kelly's last game against the Jags in 1996...also Hull's last game). I think there is a high probability they are in Atlanta next week. Anything can happen of course, but the Bills are favored and for good reason.

Crazy start time... As it's against a West Coast opponent I've often wondered how different it must be watching sporting events as a fan there... Pretty much all the East Coast weeknight games are going to be during the early afternoon and a lot of people would likely still be working at the 4pm start time. Wonder if people listen to the game at work or if they don't get to really do anything until they get home. Then with football you have games starting at 10am every week which is unusual for us here unless it's a London game. Just seems like it would be so different as a sports fan there
