Pittsburgh is going to have one or two things happen...they are going to keep showing their age and this will start the decline of that franchise due to age, or they will start picking up the pace on points due to buckling down for a playoff run. Hard to say with them, they have been kinda "meh" all year long but have a lot of good players albeit old ones.

It's hard to find a player for free that is a perfect fit for exactly what you need in a top 9 forward role but KA has done it with Jost...just a masterful waiver pickup by him.

Tough back to back but they are facing a significantly worse team than Dallas so that should help.

Did you? Mittelstadt was one of the best players on the ice tonight for them and broke up a sure goal by Robertson with an empty net staring him in the face with a great stock on D. Nice give and go with Dahlin off the faceoff and gets the assist and was generally all over the ice tonight. If you aren't seeing it's you have to be trying really hard to not see it right now.

Sabres ended strong...were being outshot 10-0 at one point but then outshot Dallas 9-4 after that.

What a few shifts to end the period by the Sabres...had Dallas hemmed in and under pressure for almost a minute and a half straight in their own zone

Dallas is the best team I have ever seen at knocking down pucks in the air ..they've already done it like 6 or 7 times when the Sabres try to flip those little dump in passes in or try to do cross ice passes...it's kinda crazy how good they are at that...have caught the Sabres a bunch of times in transition by doing it
