This is probably true. But it's also along the lines of saying the Sabres' blue line is going to be better than the one they iced last season. Of course I think the Sabres' upgrade is much larger, but when the bar is so low...

This might not be quite as bad as your Matthews takes, but it's in the same universe. Could be, but it also exposes all of their blather about competing this year as the utter nonsense many thought it was. I also don't understand keeping Tyrod, signing Boldin....if you're gonna tank, tank. Matthews is better than Boldin at this stage of his career, but he's still really just an okay slot guy. They should trade him. And Tyrod. Go all the way. The line is a problem, but if Goff ends up as the second coming of Blake Bortles, the Rams might be lucky. If it's unclear, that is most definitely not a compliment. We didn't draft him in the first place :nana:

I find it difficult to reconcile this view with your general like of Tyrod. As one of the resident Whaley apologists, I don't think he ever got the chance to truly build his own team. Though, I think it's fairly clear he liked EJ a lot more than he should have after seeing him play NFL games.

I'm a huge Nylander fan and not a big Duchene fan, but I do this too. Getting out from under Bogo's contract would be a gift.

I need to transfer my car's registration and my license to Ohio. It's not a big deal, except if I end up back in NY, I'll get stuck with those hideous gold plates. I can only hope there's another re-design in the next few years.

Matt Duchene remains among the more overrated players in the league. He's a prime example of valuing flash over substance.

I didn't recognize it, but when I read it online the light bulb went off. The obvious solution is they get married and as king he has dominion over the north, while she handles the rest. Everyone is happy then. Well, until he dies to kill the Night King. :unsure: A+.

Joking aside, it's a good signing. Or, like the rest of us, he learned Jay Cutler had signed there. Boldin's been slow his entire career, and it hasn't mattered. Dude knows how to get open, make tough catches, and he's a hell of a blocker. He'll be a useful addition.

I actually saw it the other way: the tension between them is lessening. Between the body language in the cave, and her asking for his counsel, and Davos joking about them...I think it's headed in the right direction. The other two don't have riders yet. And she was on Drogon.

I think Jaime has too important of a part to play to die. At least not yet. Bronn definitely should have bought it though--when he pushed Jaime out of the way he should have gotten roasted. That said, I'm shocked he didn't grab his gold and run. Wouldn't that have been the quintessential Bronn move? Grab the gold and try to defect. I'm so happy they showed Arya actually fight. I think book readers understand that being an assassin isn't only about poison and slit throats and whatnot, but the average viewer might not have truly understood that she can legit fight now.

FWIW, the student in question is a Buffalo State student. Though UB certainly has its fair share :lol: Oh, he failed the assignment. 47. And that was probably a merciful grade.

This really deserves to be in the complaint thread, but I'm too triggered to wait. The following is an explanation of the major conflicts and compromises at the Constitutional Convention. Even granting that it's a 100-level class, I don't know if I'm angry or depressed.
