Hell yea I'd have taken a cheap flyer on Jagr. Reports are he really did look old and slow in the second half of last year, but the upside is worth it IMO.

The Jets are currently ahead of the Patriots in the division. Technicality, sure, but I'm going to enjoy this for a week.

Yup. I still maintain the most amazing part of the drought is how we've never had one year where things just go our way and we fall backwards into a playoff spot. I'm not about to feel bad about finally getting some bounces.

I'm not sure I'd beat my chest too loudly about this since they were a few short yards away from losing because of that decision.

And the Pats could easily be 1-3. The only game they won convincingly was New Orleans. Their defense is sooooooo bad.

Truth. On the bright side, the Pats' defense might be legitimately bad. This is the first time all year Cam has looked like an NFL QB, let alone a superstar.

Right, he's not perfect with it. But he's far and away better at it than every other coach in the league. This is how I feel. I couldn't possibly be happier with how things are playing out. Oh, Zay Jones. His hands are currently as reliable as mine would be.

We all know that's not going to happen. Add offseason analysis of schedule difficulty to the list of things that shouldn't be a thing but always will be. I honestly think Belichick is the only coach who consistently gets clock management right (and he botches it from time to time as well). If that's the biggest issue with McDermott, we'll be okay.

It does, though. Implicit bias is rooted in experience and circumstances and how the brain works...but it is ultimately correctable through temperate discussion and education on misperceptions. Hate is not correctable, and had much worse foundations.

To be fair, implicit bias isn't the same thing as hate.
