This is a good deal for both. I think it will be a very good deal for the Sabres in years 2 and especially 3. He is still RFA at the end of this deal, which is good.

We are starting the final rounds of qualifiers so I think it's time to start this up. Canada drew Honduras 1 - 1 in a wild BMO Field setting last night, which is okay. When you know that regional powers Mexico and USA will qualify, unless there is a disaster for either side, you need every point you can get. That said, Canada should have won this one, especially since the USA drew El Salvador last night. A come from behind point at home is a good result though. No real surprises, as far as I know ... just skimmed the results, in Europe yet and there still is a ways to go there. No real surprises in any other region either. The WC final tournament is being played in November for the first time ever, as far as I know. Due to the heat in Qatar in July.
