We have a Beaver living in a pond near us. Never see him / her (?), but the dam is feat of engineering genius and the housen is fantastic. See clear evidence of the daily activity with trees down and branches tracken in the very distinct way of the Beaver. One of the most fascinating and important creatures in our wilds. That pond used to almost dry up completely in the heat of the summer. Now it teams with new life and growth all around and in it. The dam hold back the water with just enough outflow to ensure freshness.

When the dust settles at the end of this season the Buffalo Sabres will not be bottom 5. We will be drafting at around 7 or 8.

In the best of both worlds kind of thinking it has to be the Buffalo Beaver Boners. @PASabreFan bring the maple syrup we need sweetener over here. I'm with you @Ice Cold. Been a Beaver fan my whole life. Well, at least since 12 years old.

The loss can not be put on Josh. I remember the AFC Championship game in '92 (I think) against Denver. Very similar conditions and the game could have gone either way. The Bills eacked out a hard fought 10 - 7 win and everyone thought everybody was geniuses ... the coaches and players ... for playing the perfect game in such conditions. The Bills could have easily lost that day just as they did yesterday.

Inky is not serious. He just figured out the ignore feature after forever and now he tells just about everybody that they are being added to his ignore list. I'll bet he has already forgotten how to use the feature, especially since it is useless if anyone quotes whoever you have on ignore and he quoted you himself.

One score maybe even just one play is the difference. In less than ideal conditions. Still I rather have this than a dome. NE are masters of coming in with nearly flawless game plan regardless of where the game is played and under what conditions and the Bills almost beat them. I am not convinced the better team won. The better prepared and just a little bit better at executing their plan team won.
