Well technically his floor is AHL and ceiling is first liner like anyone, but I think his ceiling is a Girgensons-light perfect 3rd liner.

More important than this announcement, I think kate upton is vastly over-rated. I see two reasons for the love, but besides that? Meh

So I put their potential (in my opinion), and then put what level of likelihood there is of them reaching the potential. 5/5 would mean a top 3-5 pick, while 1/5 is the lowest possible level! Don't think of it as percentages (80% likely, or 100% likely), as there is no such thing as 100% likely. Just think of it as intervals, a 5/5 would be a sure-thing who is assumed will reach his potential (ekblad, mackinnon). While ristolainen is the next interval down. Top six forward examples: 5/5 = Mackinnon, Bennett, McDavid 4/5 = Virtanen, Dal Colle 3/5 = Grigorenko, Armia 2/5 = JT Compher 1/5 = Any 3rd rounder

Also the rankings were done by a mix of ceiling/likelihood to reach ceiling. So players like Larsson and Ruhwedel have lower ceilings than players around them in the rankings, but I feel they have a higher chance of reaching them. It's not a ranking if the best or most valuable prospects. But I'm no prospect expert, that's for sure!

I don't get the negativity towards the brown trade. He's looked great everytine I watched him and he us only 22. Perfect #3 RB who can compliment spiller after FJ is gone

Spiller hasn't unseated FJ for the starting job? Last year spiller missed a lot of time due to injuries and still had as many carries as freddy, and CJ had 100 more carries than him in 2012. Avg yards per carry (attempts Spiller 2011 - 107 (5.2) 2012 - 207 (6.0) 2013 - 202 (4.6) Freddy 2011 - 170 (5.5) 2012 - 115 (3.8) 2013 - 206 (4.3) So I don't think there is a question who has been the starting back the past 2 years (ts been pretty clear), and I think ill take a running back who struggled with injuries during the games, palyed behind a pretty bad o line, and still average almost 5 yards a carry... One dimensional.......good lord

I like pick, they have a chance to get a true elite player and they did. Can't hate on that.

I'v said it before, but i don't think they should qualify hackett. Makarov deserves a spot in rochester next year, and lieuwen > hackett

I know it may sound weird, but I give players a free year pass in their first year of North American hockey. Add in the injuries, and I think Armia can breakout next year. He's turned into the forgotten prospect haha
