Don’t underestimate the fact that people haven’t had much to do for the last 11 months. Attending an Amerks game was something to do before (there’s not a LOT to do in Roch compared to larger cities), and people did it, so it’s likely the passive “fans” will have an interest again.

What was always odd about it, to me, is that I’ve seen 4 year olds draw a better picture.

Alright, so about 1100 for an Amerks game. About 1/4-1/5 of a normal Friday or Saturday crowd.

For me, it was driving from Rochester to Buffalo with my friends just to attend the parties in the plaza in 2006. What an incredible atmosphere and thing to be a part of. I did attend the final game against Carolina in person, but the games I watched in the plaza were actually more fun.
