No. Tage was ahead of Nylander in camp, and still is development-wise. Nylander isn’t going to amount to anything, despite our hopes of the possible shiny diamond becoming a shiny diamond. He’s best used as trade bait for something useful, and hopefully for him it jolts him into relevance elsewhere.

Housley sucks. I don’t care how many times we’ve changed coaches recently. If you have a blown tire on your car, you replace it with a new one. Just because you’ve blown 5 tires in 8 years doesn’t mean you just ride on the flat and hope it somehow magically finds a way to gain air again.

This team sucks. Everyone can waste their breath trying to find a specific reason, but it’s not just one. Blame HCPH, blame the roster, blame ROR, blame Lehner, blame Ryan Miller, blame Drury and Briere leaving, blame Golisano and Pegs, blame GMTM, blame the skate in the crease.

Wow, the posters on this site get super sensitive during a losing streak. It was his first game with new teammates, a new system, a whole new city. I’d like to know how a lot of you did on your first day on a new job. Yeeeesh.

I was there tonight. Great game. Won free chili, won a free donut and coffee, and won a burrito. And caught a shirt. Oh and the Olafsson hatter and two shorties and 7-1 win were cool.

Totally deserved that one. We had the puck in their zone with Jack down low battling and everyone else completely gave up on the play instead of being aggressive and trying to retain possession. Then we let them go through the neutral zone with no pressure, and enter our zone with all the Sabres backing off. This team needs to be more aggressive on the puck and have better value of having possession.
