    I've always liked Flynn. He's not as strong on the boards as Matt Ellis, but he has more talent, more speed, and tries just as hard. He's the perfect kind of Nolan player to have around while we wait to get good. I think that once the NHL expands Flynn will be included under the label of NHLer.

    I wonder what it's like to play against a fellow organizational prospect. Do you hate him more because he's your competition to make it to the show? Is there brotherhood because you might be teammates someday? Most likely just another guy to play against.

    Neuvirth had a couple of great games for us last year, too. I don't know if he's more consistent this year, or we just didn't get enough time last year to see if he was this good.

    Nothing more exciting then when it starts feeling right. It's normal to learn to crossover right before your learn to crossover left. I'm going to be practicing my backwards crossovers big time this winter once the ponds are frozen. Skating in pads makes trying/learning a lot less scary. I'm definitely going to wear elbows, knees, and a helmet when I do mine.

    Kings arm stripes are thinner and don't look as cool. Did the Lightning Jersey designer steal your girlfriend? Was that girlfriend the Kings designer?

    My favorite song on their new album! Sounds like they were listening to a lot of Pink Floyd when they wrote it. I'm not crazy about the rest of Turn Blue. In general too soft and poppy for me. I love the Black Keys for their gritty blues.

    I don't think Murray was expecting anything different than what we've seen so far in his tenure. I think if he was the GM of the Blackhawks right now he would still be saying the same thing.

    I think most people just prefer following sports to be a fun thing. So if the team sucks, they get excited about the future.

    You can get QBs with other picks. Sammy is the real deal. Getting him for a #9 and a #13 isn't a terrible deal.
