I agree that the coaching staff was never sold on EJ as a viable starting option, but I highly doubt the media's damning of EJ is in any way directly related to the team's preference (other than the obvious pick the winner reflex). EJ never had a coach that believed in him, but if he was going to be a good QB, he likely would've shown it by now (and a coach probably would've believed in him).

Crappy attitudes can certainly lead to more problems down the road, but there's so many more steps between the psychology behind pornography (most of which is "I'm horny") and the psychology of a violent rapist. I think we pretty much agree, but the connection you're trying to make between porn and rape is much too strained for me. Is our societal sexism ever present in pornography? Sure, but it's present everywhere.

Disagreeing with a draft pick is something that most fans get over the day after the draft. The fact that you are still able to get it up over this particular issue is hilarious. EJ will be fine. Also, for context: the 8th overall pick got us a 3rd string/cut QB and one of the most explosive RBs in the league. I'll take that over a bust.
