  1. North American hockey is all about risk management, though. We teach a simple game, and tell our players to go hard and grind it out. I'd rather watch players take more risks and try to complete more fancy passes.
  2. The safest play in music: The two chord jam.
  3. Well... Yeah.
  4. Coaches are going to notice when players take dumb shots. Using statistics as a tool doesn't mean they stop watching the game. To the bolded: Marginal players throwing more pucks on net doesn't really strike me as something that would shape the game to be less interesting to watch (maybe a little). Marginal players are usually not very interesting to watch.

  6. Marginal players are going to lose ice time realllll quick pulling dumb stunts like that.
  7. Thanks for the report mjd. I believe the discrepancy between Gionta and Kaleta's skating success stems from a little think called beinggoodathockey.
  8. Hockey is about skill, passion, and risk evaluation. Every time you make a decision you have to decide to push the envelope offensively or make the safe play (more or less). And has any player really stopped taking risks to inflate their advanced stats? Seems like BS
  9. None here. (how does apple regularly eff up their updates now? software used to be their strong suit)
  10. GoDD is a horse: Confirmed.
  11. One of us. One of us. The joys of pc gaming, eh?
  12. Whether you meant Radiohead or Stone Temple Pilots, good song.
  13. I'm going to drink a few Guiness extra stouts and play Rocket League for at least 4 hours straight tonight. Also I participated in a pretty sweet funk jam last night. Does my soul good.
  14. Thanks for posting that again cerebral. I remember watching Jack's shooting motion 25 times in a row during the dog days of no hockey summer. So sexy.
  15. I'm calling Jurassic World the Brad Marchand of movies.
  16. Colon, the Bard Marchand of body parts.
  17. I disagree. Subban is the flash. Pacioretty is super solid and an elder statesman on that roster. Would've been my pick, too.
  18. I used to work in an ER! Now I just hang out with my gramma. Our ER didn't have two tracks, but more serious cases would jump the line. Going to the ER would likely not help him all that much. After a long wait the doctor would probably just refer him and he'd have an unnecessary bill to take care of. It depends a lot on what the doctor is like. And I don't know anything about what in particular hospitals can be sued for, but they usually don't seem worried.
  19. 39. A chillum. The Matt Ellis of dope smoking.
  20. They were in need of a prospect restocking though, after trading us all their 1st and 2nd round picks and trading Boston 2 more 2nd rounders. Grabner's first name has always been "Dick" to me.
  21. Depends on the day. A lot of days around here our ER is effin' busy. But in all honesty, probably about 60% of the patients that come through have less serious problems than Weave, though.
  22. 43. Price Chopper - The Matt Ellis of food distribution.
  23. Hope all is well Weave, and yes our healthcare system is this . I'll ask my dad if he has any advice. So I ran into my ex's father yesterday. It was kinda nice catching up with him, but he let me know that she's back in town. This isn't a big deal, but it bothers me. I thought she'd be in Cali for the next few months, but now I could run into her any time. On this same day, an old flame (like, a big one) texts me drunk and tells me about how she broke up with her boyfriend. I have a girlfriend now and I don't want to think about these sirens of the past. I mean the same day? What the .
