I'm with you. I thought Samson's last two games were very strong. Gionta seems to be back to his old self, but his effort would serve us on any line. Samson's smooth mitts are put to best use when they can feed somebody that's dangerous. (dangerous with the puck, not dangerous because they have sledgehammers for hands)

I like to think of myself as a somewhat knowledgeable hockey fan, and I never see stats unless I'm reading hockey articles or this board. There's just so much about the game you can sink your teeth into while you're watching. -You can try to figure out which lines are going against which and why the home coach is doing it. -You can sit back and listen to how talented Rick is at capturing the flow of the game with as few words as possible. -You can try to isolate players and learn about them. I love assigning personalities to players based solely on how they play. I don't know Mark Pysyk, but I know the calm, methodical Pysser. -You can watch the space open and close depending on where the puck is. I'm captivated every time, even if I know the Sabres are going to lose.

He could also be hurt. Ennis, Franson, and he had a rough time last night.

It seems like every WR that suits up for the Giants is good. In the stretch of the game that I watched the Giants won almost every battle in the secondary, offensive and defensive. Football is kinda fun when both teams are good. Blue spoke truth when he said the Giants are better than they looked early on this season.

No Larsson or Reinhart centering the third line? Hmmm. My lines sans 9 and 28: Moulson - O'Reilly - Gionta Foligno - Eichel - Reinhart McGinn - Larsson - Ennis Deslauriers - Schaller - Legwand (Legwand or Schaller at C) The weakness these lines have is no obvious shutdown triplet, but I like it better than Legwand centering the 3rd line. Coco played a very nice game against the sharks. Dude has a decent set of skates under him.

There should be a hockey version of Sister-Wives. I'm sure some NHLer would be an open polygamist if TLC promised to make a terrible cutesy reality show about it.

I didn't see what you saw. I saw a kid struggling positionally that wasn't quite ready yet.

At some point I will play fallout 4 and there will be parts of the game I love and parts of the game I hate. Such is my relationship with Bethesda. I'll wait ~6 months or so for the modders to get their teeth sunk deep before I start.

Oh my . I can't even imagine.

My sister took me out to a concert in Ithaca on Tuesday (for my birthday, which is in a couple weeks). She gave me a ride, bought me a ticket, thai food, and a beer. The band was Earphunk, who I hadn't heard much of. They grooved well, but they needed something more (a singer, a brass instrument, something). They were a blend of alternative/funk (not funky enough for me). That was fun, but not the F'N Fantastic part. My girlfriend goes to Oswego, which is ~2 hours and 20 minutes away. On Monday I was whining about the long-distance sadness that has been so common in my life. My girlfriend skipped her dance rehearsal to come to the concert and then came home with me and skipped her classes the next day. When she initially told me she was coming I started crying. That never would've struck my ex as a possibility.

McGinn too? For Zadorov plus garbage? If we were able to lock up O'Reilly pretty easily on a long term deal there should've been plenty of takers. I think the league misenterpreted their cheapness as O'Reilly being difficult to negotiate with. So they screwed themselves over, and over, and over.
