  1. GDTs are enough proof of that.
  2. So we should settle for bad because lots of teams have? I want a professional talker who talks good.
  3. I only missed out on 1.6 points by not putting a TE in (I had Clay)
  4. I hate that Doug Stamkos. Lets see if we can finally blank him.
  5. This is the second straight year he's been MIA for the beginning of our season. My patience is wearing thin and he's not getting any younger.
  6. "Soccered" There's a word for that, Doc. It's "kicked."
  7. I vote hockey. Hockey hockey hockey.
  8. I'm with you. I've been complaining aboug it every day there's no Sabres game.
  9. ComplEment. Huh. I never realized the difference in spelling. Complemement is... something else entirely. "Good shot Jack! Nice skating Kiddo!"
  10. My connection to the Bond films is heavily rooted in nostalgia. Goldeneye, Casino Royale, and Skyfall have been the only good ones made since I was born (haven't seen the new one yet). I can't really fault anybody for not being into Bond, they're pretty much just textured action films.
  11. Gionta showed life in the last 2 games (against the Canucks he was about as effective as a less physical Larsson, and that was far and away his best game of the year). I didn't feel a pulse at all before that. Moulson is a complimentary player and there was no talent for him to compliment last year. If we're rolling with O'Reilly-Moulson as a pairing, I think they need somebody to dog it out on the boards and go to the front of the net. O'Reilly is tough but his physicality doesn't exactly create space in the offensive zone. Last game I thought Moulson - O'Reilly - Gionta was in desperate need of some beef. I have liked Reinhart with O'Reilly in the past, though, so I see where you're coming from.
  12. Tom Hiddleston strikes me as more of a Q than a Bond.
  13. He's most known for being Stringer Bell in The Wire. And no thanks on Bale. He's even serious-er than Craig.
  14. A few more games with Jack Jack? How about one game with Jack Jack to start with? Moulson has 4 goals. Tied with O'Reilly for 2nd on the team. He's not JAG, he's an offensive specialist who hasn't been put in his logical position. Another way to look at it is: Moulson and Eichel nearly connecting for a goal despite only playing with one another for 30 seconds supports the idea that they should play together. Imagine if they had time to get used to one another. It happened before about five games ago where Moulson passed it to Eichel, who tipped in on net (the goalie saved it).
  15. Moulson missed once and he's all of the sudden 4th line fodder? Moulson is at his worst in a grinder role and at his best when he can set up in the O zone. Gionta is much more of an effort player who's game makes sense on our 4th line. You were quick enough to defend Eichel-Kane despite one glorious opportunity that I can remember being squandered by Kane.
  16. You don't think Moulson should be given a shot with Eichel? Warum nicht? I don't understand how anybody can be up on Gionta and down on Moulson.
  17. Flip Gionta and Foligno and I like those lines. I love it when Girgensons and Larsson play together, and I think Reinhart is a perfect fit for the RW of that line.
  18. I hate embellishment in pro soccer too (that's why US women's soccer is so awesome). But the diving occurs at that level because refs don't penalize it, so more players do it. It has nothing to do with a lack of manliness.
  19. Ok... but there's no stigma attatched to marathon running. It's the ignorant stuff I had to hear in middle school. When you call hockey a man's game and call "soccer players" pussies you're implying something about soccer.
  20. How often does an Eichel move not work? (I hate myself for this) EICHEL WILL BE FINE ON THE PK
  21. I got wrecked in every facet by Liger.
  22. Eichel is a hockey robot. Him being NINETEEN has nothing to do with anything. (Scumbag edit)
  23. They were quietly ashamed of you, as I was (was) when you questioned putting Eichel on the pk, comparing him to McDavid. Eichel is much better defensively and has absurd reach with his extra long(!) stick. I can't think of a single good reason not to play him on the pk.
  24. "I'm sorry qwk, I have to ask, does anybody else?" Tool :D
