    Can people stop using this reasoning? Just because a lot of sports commentators suck doesn't mean that we have to be okay with our guy that sucks slightly less hard. Ah, that makes sense. I just want to see more blitzing (although I get that the Chan/Fitz spread is pretty good against the rush, I still like our CBs)

    (haven't read the thread yet) Coach's challenge on offsides is still terrible. What are players supposed to do if they see the ref blew the call? I have no idea why HD had Franson on the PK again. The pass that set up the goal went right through him. Samson had a terrific game tonight. He looks stronger on the boards every game. That little stick wave before the tip to avoid being tied up was nifty. Reminds me of Vanek. Zemgus still can't buy a bucket. Risto with another strong game, Pysyk as well. Eichel was quiet tonight. Gionta and Moulson both finally started showing some chemistry with O'Reilly. Nice to see the captain finally pot one. His celebration was pretty great, too. Dude is probably harder on himself than we are.

    Ullmark is going to struggle at some point (NHL shooters will figure him out and he'll have to adapt). There will come a time when we are all glad to have 2 tickets in the good starting goaltender lottery.

    The 1 touch passes into space through the neutral zone are awesome. Bylsma is really using our team speed to overwhelm opponents.

    My favorite play of the game was when Deslauriers blocked the point shot that led to the Foligno goal. 3rd line with Zemgus-Larsson and 4th line with Foligno-Deslauriers is soooo hard to play against. Our forwards are for real, and we're missing Kane.

    Moulson has really only had 2 or 3 bad games recently. It's not like he's been terrible all season. McCabe and Ullmark are the most surprising to me. I thought they'd both be good, but not this soon.

    Nobody is arguing that Weber is anything better than a 7th defenseman. He's currently seeing the ice because Bogo is hurt. We wouldn't have seen him at all last week if Colo wasn't hurt too.

    I'm not convinced that's part of it. I've always thought that Lehner was a power move by GMTM to try establish to Peg that he'll get fleeced by his uncle any time he wants because this is HIS franchise. Then Terry sent a message in the first game. Watch in the injury video. Lehner's ankle: Back and to the left. Back and to the left.

    The coach needs to tell the media when he's trying to win? Sounds like we have a stealth tank sitch going on here. GMTM told HCHDDB to make SURE to lose any game that we have a valid excuse to lose. The 4 TB games early on in our schedule are proof of GMTM building MFT status with some moles in the NHL central cell. Bogosian gets some injury time, which is a win/win masterful stroke. Kane and he are alotted more time and space to build their empire. Evander was a tough sell originally because he wants to maintain his status as a good player despite nearly never playing. I can't decide if he has a robot leg or Schlemko was in on it. His post game interviews were nearly a dead tell. ANYWAYS, back to MFT status. The plan for GMTM is all about placating the masses (filthy casuals and diehards alike) with real progress hampered by "real" setbacks. We will miss the playoffs barely and Tim's mole will get us Mathews. It sickens me that we have such a rube errand boy of a GM that is so obviously carrying out his owner's wishes to a T.
