Pi, at first I liked your crazy. You were so captivating, like Nic Deslauriers going after anybody. Then you turned my heart to the specific universe of the specific dimension where it's blackest of all. Now I'm swinging back towards being crazy in love with your crazy ass.

Ugh I am so sickened by the thought of Stamkos in Toronto. He already scores like clockwork against the Sabres for the Lightning, do we really have to see him do it as a Leaf, too?

Wow, whiplash. My eyebrows didn't grow in until I was ~16 or so. Now they're... sorta there.

This is 100% correct. I think that Jack is trying to do too much insofar as "doing too much" tends to be synonymous with "in his own head." (qwk sentences are overcomplicated when drunk)

I'm not sure about connecting concussions with bitching about the refs, but I agree with the sentiment. Refs have to take more ###### than anybody, and I tend to understand where they're coming from (a realization I came to after getting pissed about beer league a few times and my brother showing me the light). My dad was an ECHL hockey doctor for a while and his report was that those guys (the players) are ###### crazy. Broken arm? Don't care, get me back into the game, Doc.

You're just making fun of me, now, aren't you?
-
No , did you work construction or engineering on the First Arena?

I like the move because Eichel has been playing like poopy and not skating hard enough. Put Kane on his line, tell him that this guy is a bad mother , skate just like he does.

Damn. How can anybody rob a child of feeling safe? Bastard. On the other hand, the parts about hockey being his solace reminds me of the Red Army. Hockey was the only time those kids could express themselves. Pure art, but what a scary thought.

This is great. Thanks for sharing, Hoss. My family got box seats at the Jackals tonight. Everyone except Gramma was there. Mom, Dad, step mom, brother, brother, sister, step brother, step sister, nephew. Jackals win 4-3 and I made full use of 1$ beer night. My step brother just got back from Europe, so I'm about to hang out with him and his girlfriend and hear about their trip. Awesome end to a Wednesday.

Mr. Moonlight, huh. Been a while since I've heard that one. That 7th chord when he says "I think you're fine." So good.

I think that's a fair evaluation of McCabe and Pysyk's tools, but it leaves out that Pysyk has been much more consistent than McCabe. (I don't think this has much influence on their long term development, but it's worth mentioning that McCabe has had some real rookie games as of late.)

I agree, that's why I said you can lay it at his feet. -

When the players don't execute, you can lay that at the feet of Hot Daniel's motivational skills, but I don't understand what that has to do with his game plan. The line match-ups haven't seemed bad to me in the last couple games, we just got outskated. -
Right, backwards compatibility was a thing in 2000 when the PS2 was released. Now the console makers don't bother because it helps them make a quick buck later on. I'm glad that the PS2/Gamecube game libraries can be emulated these days.

What? That's a thing?!?

What a mess this game was. -Gionta executed the laziest change of all time on the too many men penalty. Uncharacteristic, -Eichel was bad again. I can't disagree with anyone that is laying this at the feet of his conditioning. Eichel's skating is so much worse than it was in his first month as a Sabre. Stride, stride, reach. Stride, stride, reach. He never makes life hard for the puck carrier, just takes away a little bit of space at best. Against the Canucks and Oilers, he barely even got his speed up when he carried the puck up ice. Definitely could use a game in the press box and some better linemates. -Agree with Dudacek that Larsson played an edgy, still devoid of offense, game last night. Why is he playing like Foligno? At least it was good to see him and Zemgus creating a bit of zone time. (Sorry the Sabres sucked for you, Dude. They're 0-3-1 for games that I've seen in person.) -Bogosian is still not playing well. Still finding his way in Hot Daniel's system perhaps? -We need Pysyk and Ennis back. -
Ew.

Really, Swamp? In the context of spearing being part of the game?

I agreed with what Smell said, but taking it even further: If this team wins a cup in the next 5-6 years (assuming GMTM's plan doesn't change dramatically), it'll flow through O'Reilly, Eichel, Risto, and Reinhart. Girgensons, Bogosian, and Kane all could play important roles (Kane and Girgensons especially), but those guys are much more replaceable. Our true disagreement seems to stem from the fact that I take it as a given that Eichel and Samson will continue to grow and improve. I couldn't stop laughing at this.

The way our team is currently constructed, absolutely.
