Better Call Saul seasons 1 and 2 are so much better than Breaking Bad seasons 1 and 2 it's not even really close. And as far as a straight up comparison, I started liking it better by episode 4 of season 1.

Wow, no it isn't. I think as long as we get a D-man to play with Risto, the rest of our corps will be servicable. Enough to win the division? ...maybe if we get Stamkos.

I think Pietrangelo is something like Ristolainen's ceiling. He's incredibly smooth, but doesn't have the instinct to hang onto the puck and rush it when he needs to. I think Risto is tougher, but Pietrangelo is faster.

I think that the black and white future bits are building toward something. My guess is that the conclusion of that story will be the end of the show. I originally assumed the "DON'T" message was either from Gus or Nacho. Now, I think it's from both of them. I think Gus reached out to Nacho and that's why he was doing deals behind Tuco's back to start with. Then when the truck robbery happened Nacho filled Gus in on Mike.

I gotta tough it out on ibuprofen until I drive home from my appt this morning. This ssssuuuuuucks. I fell asleep before overtime, bummed that the Blackhawks won. I love him, but Steve Ott isn't even as good as Legwand anymore. The guy that Kane punchiscized 3 times in the had a nice move to score the game winner for Florida last night.

My pain pills ran out and today was horrible. The nurses at the office were no help whatsoever. Then my mom found some narcotics that she had been prescribed ages ago for something else. Success! Pain no longer so bad I can't do anything! But I can't drive now, so I get to lay around high with my mom watching hockey. Pretty great. I never rooted for the wings until they got scored on late. Then I finally felt a little bit of empathy. It was fun to watch Datsyuk go through the handshake line. He's one of the greats, and he'll always be one of my favorote players.

I've watched almost all of the Philly Washington series, and I (almost) feel bad for Philly. The Caps are a machine, and Holtby looks unstoppable.

I've loved this about GMTM. Dude demands a lot of his players. I don't remember Darcy ever saying anything even remotely negative about his players in public.

Another thought: Chuck doesn't know that Kim and Jimmy are practicing law separately. Hamlin made it very clear when Kim quit that he understood the nuance of her plan, he even went as far to call it smart for several reasons. When Hamlin told Chuck in a panic that they might lose Mesa Verde he just said that Kim and Jimmy are working together. Did Hamlin do that on purpose to activate Chuck? Was he just worried and didn't articulate? EDIT: I just watched that part again. Hamlin says they're pooling their resources and Chuck says "Kim and my brother, partners at law. He is Svengali, the man is Svengali." And Hamlin doesn't correct him. I find it interesting that Chuck didn't wear the foil lining under his suit when he went in. He's trying to distance himself from his brother in the worst way. I wonder if it even occurred to Chuck why he chose not to wear the lining.
