My mandatory furlough begins on Sunday. I was back to work today to a completely empty casino, and that's just plain strange. However I was one of 8 people allowed inside the count room. That's literally the only room in the building that I'm not allowed to be in. But, since the chips need cleaning and only table games staff and surveillance staff understand our accounting system, it falls on the table games staff to clean the chips. I'll be doing this for 2 more days then I'll be laid off. I'm guessing it'll be a month. By the way, I changed gloves about a thousand times today. While I'm sure I didn't contract Covid-19, I did probably get hepatitis. Those chips are the most disgusting thing on Earth. Way dirtier than cash. No question!

Sure. Besides, they're there spreading different infections. Unless the beach is closed to the public. Then I suppose they'd be trespassing.

Wait and see what happens to civil rights in this country when all is said and done. No one ever got additional freedoms after a crisis.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, but I'm going to be fine. I work for a major corporation. We will open again and I'll be back to work. People are always going to gamble, and I'm always going to have to deal with them ?

I really liked Goliath season 1. I really didn't like season 2 and I quit after 2 episodes of season 3. I liked all of Bosch though.

Aaaaaand, I'm out of a job. My company wouldn't close the joint so the governor did. 8 pm tonight our doors shut. Unemployment, here I come. My other options are to burn all my PTO(barely have any left, not happening), collect unemployment, or salaried employees can go in and clean. So I'm going in to clean the place. It'll be strange going to work and doing actual work. I've haven't done that since I was 19. We're officially shut down for 2 weeks. I'm sure they won't have me cleaning much after that. I'm planning on having a (hopefully) short unemployment stay.

So, my casino has decided to take advantage of all the other casinos in the state and surrounding states closing and we're staying open! Awesome, right? *****!! Just spent 20 minutes yelling at my father and I didn't even make a dent. He waited for me to inhale and said "welp, here's your mother." Yeah, I love you too Dad. Hopefully I'll get to see you again. If the virus makes it to The Villages the real estate market in Florida is going to boom. These ***** people are still partying every damn day and night. All of this after my new car just got hit. Wild Turkey is in season and I'm ***** killing one!

Sucks, man. Grave shift is the only silver lining. But all the college kids are out of school so the dumb dumbs come here! Tomorrow I won't have the luxury of hiding in my office. I'm going to be throwing people out left and right. Anyone who coughs is getting the hook from security.

I've been out of my office for a total of 20 minutes today. Normally I spend anywhere between 2 and 5 hours on the gaming floor. No chance!

Yep. Roller coaster at Whiskey Pete's and golf in primm was about the only thing I was old enough to do on my first time there in 2001. My vices are drinking alone in my house and staying away from other people. I'm entirely city proof. I'd live in a cabin on Mt. Charleston. I'd love to be in the Wasatch. They are awesome.

Lol, oh I've been to Vegas many, many times. Love it. The golf ball flies a lot farther out there. Plus, I don't gamble.
