Agree. People were really down on Ullmark last year, but that was his rookie year (despite him being in the organization for what feels like forever, which reading up means 2012, so 7 years of development so far!). As a rookie I expected him to struggle but also improve this year, which seems to be the path he's following. Goalies are weird and take a long time to blossom. I see a lot of chatter about "when is 6K going to be on the Sabres" but I'm more interested to see what Ullmark's ceiling is since we've been watching him for so long.

This is a big game...the Sabres are only 1 point above Tor & MTL and two above Tampa...we need to keep putting up points and stay in the top 3 in the division. Luckily MTL lost something like 7 in a row and Toronto / Tampa have not performed as expected.

With KO & Erod back, they've sent Dea to Rochester and I guess Asplund would be the 13th forward? However, it seems to me EROD has been in the doghouse all year so I wouldn't be surprised if Asplund stayed in and Erod rode the bench. He hasn't looked good this year, has he? I can't remember him doing much of anything when he's been in the lineup.
