This sounds like a recipe for the Sabres to be shutout again. We're due for back-to-back shutout losses, haven't had that happen since....last season where it happened twice during our 15 game losing streak.

I think they're starting to, they're only 2 points back - last time I checked it was more than that.

Sabres have 1 win in the last 10 games (coming against one of four teams who has a worse record than them). I'm optimistic they'll win vs WSH on Saturday b/c I have a free ticket to that game. Pessimistically they don't win until the Islanders on 12/27. Realistically they get a surprise win or two between now and the Isles. All depends on goaltending.

These kind of numbers are why I'm against any kind of public money funding any of the new stadiums. Do they have similar numbers for the Bills? The team has grown 300+ million in span of time when they haven't make the ***** playoffs , in a league where 50% of the teams qualify.

In my head "day-to-day" means will be back within a week. "Week to week" can be up to but not exceed 6 weeks. "Month-to month" out for 6+ weeks onwards. Of course, words no longer have meaning. The Sabres are spiritually dead.

Just Another Guy - essentially roster plugs. Guys who are good enough to play in the NHL but only as fillers. Typically used to stay cap complaint. To add to this, these are players who, when you hear them referenced 5 years later elicit a response of, "who?"

I would send them 1 of our 2023 2nd round picks + any JAG not named Bjork (not because I like Bjork but I think it's unlikely the Bruins would want him back). I'm also seeing tweets saying that at least 8 teams have reached out - so I don't expect the Sabres to overpay / outbid 1/4 of the league to get him.

If Tokarski is injured what are we looking at? A Ukko-Pekka - Dell tandem? A Dell - Houser tandem? Does it force gmka to make a trade to bring someone in?

I have, but what I think doesn't always align with what management sees. To me this means gmka must be working to bring in a goalie as it doesn't seem like Anderson is close.
