I'll say it again, outside of the one long screen pass to Jennings that netted him all of his 50 yards receiving, no one else had a huge day for the Giants. The undefeated Pats and the undefeated Bengals, whose QBs are having career years exploited us. The Giants did not do whatever they wanted. We held ODB to career lows (38 yards and something like 5 catches on 12 targets), and Randle couldn't do anything. They lined their best receiver up in the slot to try to get things going for them and that still didn't work. I agree that we need more pressure, and I agree that our D should be better, but when our D is on the field for 20 of 30 minutes per half, I think that's a little harsh, especially when the offense gives the D a short field to work/protect. Our offense is the problem, not the D. The D needs a little reform, but the O needs to get their together.

Who had huge days? Against the Pats, every eligible receiver had a huge game, but in every other game, the QBs rake up yards in garbage time, or by throwing to 9 different receivers who all have 30 yards. That's not really having a huge day, that;s only taking the only thing available - the dink and dunks that the D is giving. Look at the Giants. The Dolphins yardage was raked up in garbage time like the Colts. The Titans were held to ta total of 200 receiving yards. The Bengals and Pats are really the only two teams to go off.

I don't know about you, but I can't afford to just take off of work for three months with no pay. When my wife and I have kids, I already talked to my boss, and I will be taking 2 weeks vacation, and then will be part time for the better part of 2 months, with more working at home than in the office wherever possible (hard to do when you're a test engineer, but easier as a supervisor because with network access, I can review results from home).

going to need to agree with you for the most part here. I know that I'm not getting my "news" from these shows, but it does serve as a launch platform for me to go look at other things instead of getting the that Fox, MSNBC, etc forced down my throat.

I couldn't agree more with this. Same here. Good stuff. I really was at the point where I couldn't identify with any one candidate until I saw Sanders at the Dem Debate. Then I did more research on him, and I feel like I can connect with his ideas etc.

meh, I'm not so sure about that I think any candidate that really turned the spotlight to themselves in a more positive light or answered a lot of critical questions could be considered to have won a debate. In that sense, Bernie did that. Frankly, Webb and that other guy at the end did nothing for me, and Hillary and O'Malley just seemed to cast more questions on their stances. I gotta say though, that I liked the democratic debate a lot more than the republican debate.

I've gotta say, like D4rk, I've come a ways from my first vote. Bernie has really caught my ear for this election. Also, it was probably discussed (but I've only quickly scrolled through the last few pages due to time), but did anyone else see how Hillary was announced "the winner" of the Dem debate? thoughts on that? I thought Bernie was more so a winner than Hillary.

That's what I'm hoping for too. He looked decent in preseason, and I hope he maintains that confidence and poise into this game...

Gonna try to listen to the game while at work. Doubt I'll be able to really listen long though :( I don't like weekday day "matinee's".

I forgot to bench Karlos Williams for Andre Johnson in Sabrespace Fantasy football...I left 26 points on my bench :(
