  1. "proud" owner of an autographed Gaustad Slug Jersey...even wore it to the Winter Classic
  2. Boys turned 3 months last Friday. Time is flying by. I have been trying the last few days to catch up on all the hockey news. Been missing this place, but between work, building a new fence at home, and those 2 awesome little nuggets, I need more time in a day! lol.
  3. Lee/the Bills asked Reed's permission before giving it. No one has worn Thurman's number since he retired. They just don't give it out. Same with OJ if I'm not mistaken, but they won't retire OJ's number.
  4. went to bed as game was in third. Woke up to feed boys, game was starting OT3. Not too shabby haha.
  5. God I miss Sabres Playoff games :(
  6. The bolded is my biggest gripe at work at the moment. So infuriating.
  7. Gotta say, the Stars/Blue series has been a fun watch so far, when I can watch lol.
  8. These little nuggets. That is all. Already a month and a half. Yeesh
  9. Finally came home Monday night with both boys. Spent nearly 2 weeks in the NICU in Syracuse due to respiratory distress, but all is well, and we are loving being home. They are in between preemie clothes and newborn clothes, so their Sabres onsies don't quite fit yet...
  10. They already know. I'm just that good. Thank you guys and gals.
  11. watching this one at our hotel (Ronald McDonald House). Going to give the boys time to rest. Gonna have to remember not to scream at TV lol
  12. Hey all. Don't have much time to stay, but wanted to drop in and give everyone the most amazing news of my life to date. The twin Menaces were born on St Patricks day at 4:01p and 4:02p. Both boys were about 6lbs and 18in. long. They were born at 36 weeks and 2 days, and were early due to pre-eclampsia. Both boys had a lot of respiratory distress though, and had to be transported to Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. They are improving everyday, and are the greatest blessing my wife and I could've asked for. I finally got to hold both boys, with skin-to-skin contact, yesterday, and it was the most emotional, special, amazing moment I have ever experienced. We hope that by next week, both boys will be in the step down unit from the NICU. We are keeping expectations low, that way every little step is a huge accomplishment in our minds. And while I'm talking about blessings, let me tell you the blessing that the Ronald McDonald house is. My wife and I talked to a social worker, who placed us there. It has saved us an immense amount of money, and the care that the staff has helps put our minds at ease for food, etc. This has been a roller coaster ride the last 5 days, but it has also been the most amazing experience of my life. Once out of the NICU, I'll get a picture of them in their Sabres or Bills outfits and post that. Hopefully I'll check in later, but hope everyone is well. I miss the hockey conversations, but I've got some new responsibilities now B-) B-) B-)
  13. Just had another ultrasounds with Mrs Menace and the twins. Both boys are progressing very well, and both are 5lbs right now! They are progressing like singletons. We officially scheduled the C-Section for the 31st of March, so if we get that far, the doctors said both boys could effectively be 7lbs!!! To me, that is absolutely crazy, and I have to give all kudos to my awesome wife for carrying two ginormous boys for now 34.5 weeks. That woman is my hero :)
  14. Stopped by quick to read today's GDT and I am not disappointed. Great job! Really excited to watch this one.
  15. Probably going to follow this advice. Just found out Wednesday that I had bronchitis...again. Sucks because I was really hitting my groove with my new routine. my doctor knows this and told me no physical activity for at least 2 weeks. Gah! :censored:
  16. I hope to be able to find some semblance of a gym routine once the twins arrive. Whether it's in the AM before work, or take a long lunch 3 days a week. Just something.
  17. 3 weeks at the gym now, at least 3x/week. Down 10lbs in that time. Doing about an hour of cardio every time I'm there. Trying really hard to lose that sympathy weight I put on with my pregnant wife (who is t-minus 5 weeks till the twins arrive).
  18. I gave you a follow. I thought this was a really cool idea. Something I'd love to do with my boys once they get older.
