    I was thinking they could not drop below 2 but you are right, whoops. Sorry for the tank talk but it's unavoidable when you are playing another worst team in the league. Hopefully there will at least be some fights since we took out their star in the pre-season.

    That game yesterday was just so bad that there is no way the Sabres lose this one. The coaches were all over the Sabes after the loss so no way they don't come out with a W. I have always thought Carolina is their main competitor for the number 1 pick but oh well. I have no doubt that Buffalo is finishing in the bottom 2 so why not get a win?

    I think it's time to test as many young guys as possible (even if for a game or two). Grigs and Zadorov need to play asap.

    Send Mike Williams and Spiller to a team for a guard. If this team is going to make the playoffs, it has to fix the run game.

    I don't care that they lost, I care that this team is STILL boring as hell and that stings for us season ticket holders. Can they at least hit?

    I keep hearing coaches and gm say they want teams to have a tough night when coming to Buffalo. I know they will barely ever win but there is ZERO evidence of teams not imposing their will on us. Non stop odd man rushes against us and no offense for us. When will THAT change?

    I have to say, if this season resembles this game at all, it's gonna suck just as bad as last year. I knew they were one of the worst teams but wow, is it freaking boring as hell in that arena. Hodgson and Foligno both suck while Myers had a great game. When this team does get McDavid or Eichel, they are still going to be years away. Are there ANY playmakers on the team/farm? I'm serious, other than my kid getting on the jumbotron a few times, it's torture in there.

    I'll be there and am fired up. No way will I be hoping for a loss tonight - no freakin' way. Buffalo sports has me more fired up recently than I have been in many years and I'm not about to pour water on that. Play hard and show improvement as the season goes on, that's all I want. Sunday, at the Ralph, fegit about it...

    The Sabres need their own "shout song". Something simple to get the crowd bonded after the goal. I think next year is the year to introduce it...I still can't believe Ooh Ahh Sabres on the Warpath has not ended this debate already. There is NOTHING better in my book.

    I saw a few games of Lieuwen last year, how has he been progressing since? Definitely love the 6'5 frame as I keep thinking Don Edwards is still playing for us.

    Outside of Enroth, I have zero clue as to who is ready to step up when this team is going to have to lock in one of the most important pieces. I am 99% sure that Enroth is not that guy so who will it be? I would love to look to this thread to see who has been playing well and has the most legit shot of stepping into that role. Any insights as to who the Sabres THINK that may be?

    Serious question, even when this team is good, I wonder if the crowd will ever get to the level it used to be. It's been a few years and I remember the last playoff series I went to was even brutal.

    I still think goaltending will be the weakest link on the team. I hope someone really steps it up by 2015 season.
