I'm all for the jerseys for whatever group. I'm also all for allowing people to have their own opinions and beliefs/values. Many very religious people still don't accept the LGBTQ&*=$ community or whatever it's called now, and they have a right to that. Makes it tough when you're in a position of power or sway in the media (as any athlete) but I think not participating in warm-ups is fair, he didn't openly bash that group and just did what was best for his own values. It's hard to please everyone in 2023 😂😂

It's time to admit, this team is what it is, flawed, young, and just not tough enough to make a playoff run this season. Maybe we'll see progress next year in the form of consistency, maybe more D structure, but we just don't have it this year.

I will also say that Thompson has not looked very good. I know that teams are actively taking him away (as they should) but his stick handling and puck protection have not had that same pizzaz as earlier in the season. He's looking a bit uncoordinated again. Could be fatigue, a poor streak, etc, but if he doesn't get back on track then we are in trouble.

I'm back to, Meh. I guess the whole season wasn't about making the playoff, and it was fine when that was the expectation. Once we got "good" it changed the perception around these parts and then we started laying eggs. Playoffs are a mere afterthought right now, but also my interest has decreased a little again. I don't know if the team is aware, but their rope is mega short after having an all time terrible decade.

Comrie in the post game interview appears to be on cocaine 😂 Holy hell, between him and Lybushkin, they torpedoed a chance at 1 if not 2 points tonight. The Sabres had more SOG than all attempted shots by Seattle. The team is a bit disjointed but that wasn't a bad game overall. I'd be tempted to sit the Russian for Fitz for a game or 2 at this point, he takes awful penalties, offers zero offense and isn't a staunch D man. He's basically Risto, albeit on a better contract I believe. We HAVE to win the next game, it's imperative.

That building was ELECTRIC, I haven't seen a game that loud in ages. The refs were hearing it, the players were feeling it, I saw Tuch look up and smile when the crowd really got going. This team is coming together and they are exciting to watch.
