  1. He's always good for a pick when it really matters. Him and Fitz must train together in the off season ;)
  2. Well it coulda been worse than #8 but I don't think te'o is what the bills really need, idk who would be worth dropping a first round pick on, I don't see a QB that's standing out from the pack. But I'd Be willing to give Geno Smith a shot, I'm not sold on Landry Jones at all. A big receiver 6'3" or taller would be nice to see in the first couple of rounds. That vikings game was very entertaining, I was really pulling for Peterson as well, 9 short yards. But second in NFL history isn't too bad. I'm looking forward to watching Dallas lose this evening, can't stand romo or jerry Jones.
  3. I was thinking drew Stafford in a contract year
  4. Leave it to buffalo to drop a couple of Draft picks in the final meaningless game
  5. Don't put it past them to only play half of a half a season. ;)
  6. I guess we'll see how stubborn Fehr and the players association really are here. I'd like to say that I'm cautiously optimistic that well see hockey in a few weeks, but that is far from a sure thing.
  7. New saddlebags for the bike new drill and other tools, gift cards to NFL shop. Com.... Don't know what to get with that yet. Some nice new surgical books, and a giant flour war while making cookies with the family. Also had to stitch up my nieces knee she tripped over our St Bernard and cut herself. An eventful holiday!
  8. Vunderbar!! Merry Christmas to all
  9. I highly doubt this gets as far as the courts. I'm guessing these harsh tactics will force some sort of agreement to happen by mid January. Just like the NFL and NBA. It's hard to say who will given in easier at this point, but I firmly believe we see a half a season starting around Jan 15th
  10. The game just happened to be on as background noise at dinner last night. Any time we needed a good laugh we just peeked over at the tv and watched the Barnum and Bailey bills.
  11. I'm sad, I was rooting for Seattle to drop 60 on us.
  12. Really there are no words to describe the tragedy today. Gun control is an issue but not one I'm inclined to participate in at this moment. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved and touched by this. As for the mental health facilities closing, I remember Gowanda closing down their facility as well as a place in Forestville, many of those people were let loose on the streets and very few were transferred to buffalo psych center, which is also an very under funded center. The way society has changed and evolved over the past two decades has led to a huge increase in mental disorders and overall social instability, just social networking alone has been the cause of several tragedies. Evil vs mentally ill can be argued but honestly someone that can do what was done today has to have some sort of mental illness, even if it's not classified as full blown psychosis. I fully agree that the mental health care system is not keeping up and is very under funded and under resourced. It's really a shame
  13. I know it's not a huge game for most people , but as a navy veteran , I'm glad they beat army the other day
  14. Yeah, idk how much worse you could call that game really. He is the man of missed opportunities and he has no ability to adjust properly at the half. This game is on the coach and the disappearance of the D in the end. Btw , brooks is just terrible. I dont think he ever has his head around on a throw
  15. Then let us continue the throwing. F**k fehr F**k bettman and all other greedy bastards involved
  16. Hey now , I wear crocs and happen to love them. I am also not into dudes lol. Damn Twitter and croc jokes
  17. This just sucks, no other way to put it. I was hopeful for holiday hockey but that will not happen. Who cares who's at fault at this point. It's like pointing fingers after the vase gets broken, the vase is still broken. I really really hope for a fan backlash if this gets settled out, but especially us in buffalo as well as other hockey cities have a flaw... to much passion , and that overtakes our stances we currently have about the whole situation. I'm angry beyond belief about this all , but I'd be lying if I wasn't one of the first to be settled in to watch the pregame show when the season starts.....tis life
  18. That was an entertaining SEC title game, although Georgia woulda Prolly won if they had any clock management skills at the end of the game. Bama ND it is, can't wait til jan 7th
  19. Ill credit ND with good wins over Stanford and Oklahoma, other than that, the quality was not too amazing. And they nearly lost several games to unranked teams. Granted the Tide didn't have too hard of a schedule this year, I highly doubt ND would have been able to take on south Carolina or LSU. Either way the Sec title game should be a good one, and I really just want bragging rights with a ND loss to my old pals in south bend
  20. Thanks, it would be a wonderful gift to get a win
  21. Good ole ND gets to rest up while other teams have to play pivotal championship games, I hate ND with a passion and I used to live in south bend. I hope the tide win and spank ND but as long as the irish lose, im fine with any team beating them really
  22. Chan gailey is the worst play calling/clock managing coach in the game. No reason to come out throwing little 4 yard incomplete passes with 44 seconds in the half. Gave indy 3 points. And so quickly we forgot how to blitz. Not only is this game frustrating but its boring too
  23. Im a huge tide fan, and when Oregon missed that OT kick last night I think I orgasmed a little. This is the shot that Alabama needed, if they can't muster up a huge victory against Georgia after a redeeming shot like this, then they don't deserve to be there. In my opinion I don't think ND had a tough schedule, other than beating Oklahoma(which was impressive) they almost choked several times to unranked teams at home and many other teams they played earlier in the year aren't even ranked. They haven't faced a defense as stout as an SEC team.
