  1. Why would Pardy sit? That's gotta be RR's worst decision so far. Brennan brings nothing to the PP or the back end in our zone
  2. Looks like Carolina is gonna own us this year. Who fills in for Kaleta? Scott? Rest Miller! This is gonna be a tough game for us. Hope for two, but don't poke the hurrachane
  3. I'd be ok with 2.... 3 max, but 5, FU Mr. Shanahan, they must really hate buffalo or really love Richards.
  4. Our PP is laughable at best. It took the Rangers oh 8 seconds on a 5 on 3 to bury it, then another 45 seconds later.... And their PP isn't even highly ranked! A 4-3 and a 5-3 in it OT and we looked like a lost kid at wegmans looking for mommy.
  5. The hit was stupid and yes technically dirty. A suspension will be coming. But that acting job seriously ticked me off
  6. A point is nice. But we played nearly a full 60 minutes of good hockey (save power plays) and ended up losing a really important point, all because of Kaleta tonight. Literally he is the reason we didn't have 2 points tonight and as much as I like patty's play it's just inexcusable. Will he get suspended, Ummmm probably, I won't debate if he deserves it or not, but it'll happen. Why does our PP suck so much? Ehroff is not a deadly force out there like he was touted when we got him and I'm not a fan of pommerz on the point either. Miller needs a game off, sooner than later, we can't dominate every shootout. This team is different, we fight back from deficits that would normally leave us rendered neutered in past. I don't know about playoffs, but if this stays up then it's def a possibility. Last it was nice to see the sabres 8th in the league in hits with Ott leading the league. That's something we haven't heard in what 20 years
  7. They were chippy against Pittsburgh and lost yes. But it was a fun game and a game that came down to the wire. It's hard for me to have watched this game last night and not admit they were much chippier than I have seen them play in some time. The mistakes are still there, but when was the last time we saw opposition guys flying on the ice from finished checks. Seeing regher cold ###### a star on a blatant interference play, Kaleta and Ott doing what they do best all game. I don't disagree with the assessment of a low talent level here but I tend to agree with Drane on his points about the overall toughness
  8. That has to mean their record over the last 4 after tonight's game right? 3 in 4 nights against the Rags on a back to back while the rags are rested at home. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see a win and a lil streak is nice. But I don't think this team has metamorphoisized into anything that much better. Basing this on how we've looked in back to backs recently and attributing it to the highly physical game last night against joisey I would be happy with a loser point tonight.
  9. I understand both sides when pertaining to ice time but porter and Flynn both have some jam and honestly look decent. Were riding a 3 game winning streak, regardless of how bad it looked at times. If they're on the ice and preventing a GW goal from the opposition then I'm ok with it. Sure on a night grigo is playing well I'd like to see him rewarded but a W is 2 points and at this point whatever is working needs to keep going.
  10. This ended up being far from the expected scoreless shootout. The shootout part was right tho
  11. We are the worst in the league at clearing the zone.. 3 inches and that goal doesn't happen
  12. How much did jersey pay the officials today? Seriously
  13. I hate when ex sabres score on us. This game is currently in ackbar mode
  14. I wanna deny it, but that was pretty boring hockey. At least we're not losing, and our physical play is a bit higher
  15. That pretty much covers all of the options. But ur not confident with a sabres blowout win?!?!?! Especially considering the high potent offense we have ;)
  16. I have some Indian friends that are vegan, and have enjoyed several dishes I have had in their company. Curried cauliflower is amazing and I could probably eat it everyday. Tofu on the other hand, is very hard for me to stomach regardless of how it's prepared.
  17. Well..... We won.... Shouldn't have but I guess a w is a w
