It was a sweet job when I did it. I love diving for fun now, but definitley at a leisurely pace and in much prettier waters 😂 it was also much much cheaper while in the service, I didn't have to pay for gear or a boat haha.

I was a combat diver in the Navy for 5 years, trust me I am well aware of that aspect. Separating military life from civilian life; I would love to be a hockey player, I think I would enjoy it. But those guys don't get there without continuous hard work.

Do me a favor, go out onto the ice after working out all off season, have a few 200+ lb guys come full speed at you and smack you around into the boards, and while you're at it, take a screaming frozen cylinder of rubber to the face for good measure. He may love his job more than other, but it's not easy.

I've diagnosed a bunch of Covid this week, everyone has been fine overall, I didn't have to admit a single one. This is what happens with viruses over time. Sadly the world shutdown will probably commence because of the numbers ans not the symptoms.

If that's the way he is thinking, then I don't want him being the Sabres goaltender. If we weren't a tire fire for a decade + we wouldn't have to worry about this issue. But alas, we are. I still think he'll sign here, but it's withing the rules for him not to, those are the odds you play as a GM.

I get to live the life I want because I stayed in school, when I had opportunities to leave and chase other aspirations. Sure, I Was never going to be an NHL player, but that wasn't my life goal, Portillo wants to get a business degree. And will almost assuredly become a pro goalie (barring any misfortunes) irregardless of if he stays or goes this year. A lot of anger and worry here from people of all ages that think someone should follow a path that THEY have predetermined. Let the kid enjoy college, hell, as soon as life starts, you can't recreate the college days, even though some people my age try to do.
