Sabres could be targeting Toffoli, Fast and Korpisalo
Weave replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Aud Club
I mean, Matt Irwin just signed. It can't be that bad here. -
Hopefully this is a "teach Samuelsson how to be a pro" signing.

How the hell do you survive that long enough to get a CT scan?

The states should control their tributaries. Look at the millions of gallons of fresh water Mississippi is letting escape from their control every minute. -
Zemgus Girgensons signs 3 Year 2.2 M AAV Deal With Sabres
Weave replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I took it as, changes to the 4th line are equivalent changes to the deck chairs on the Titanic, almost meaningless in the big picture, but those are the changes are what we've got to talk about. -
Missing Girgensons.

Zemgus Girgensons signs 3 Year 2.2 M AAV Deal With Sabres

Glad Zemgus is coming back. Not sure why but I have a soft spot for him. I agree that the plan is likely Lazar taking Larry's spot. Thorny, that 3rd line. Woof. Serious upgrading needed there. -
I'm calling the shot. He's a bust. His game doesn't translate with a wall on one side.

Squandering assets. Am i doing this correctly?

Perfetti is such a lousy hockey name. He won't amount to much with a name like that. Quinn? Quinn is a hockey name. This kid's future is so bright we'll be wearing shades.

LOL we didn't do what the Botteril team would have done and we're burning the place down.

This should be entertaining.

Freeman, to use your words, that was extremely obnoxious.

Loved the concept of Simmonds. Was hoping we could squeeze some spark out of him. Good luck, Simmer.

Sucks. Losing more and more performers that were influential to me. And more quickly too. Getting old too fast. VH sent me down the path as a fan of rock/metal. First band I really went nuts over.

Amen. Fill a roster first, then collect ELC talent. Is #8 the pick to move to fill the roster? Show me the player first, then I'll decide. But not trading it to keep a pipeline filled when the roster isn't filled is bass ackwards. You like tension.

Is Olympics even likely at this point?

The problem with opening things up to more resilient members of society is, and always was, they will be interacting with those who are not so resilient. Students will be in enclosed spaces with teachers of varying age and health, coming home to parents with varying degrees of health (who then go to work with people of varying degrees of health) and be coached by people of various ages and degrees of health. We will come in contact with first responders with health issues, doctors with health issues, retail store workers and customers with health issues. Opening society fully for some will put substantial risk on many others who still need to work and be in society and interact with the people who would now be doing things normally. And don’t think for a minute that people will be OK with not visiting elderly parents to make life more normal for younger people. The answer to me seems to be to do what we are doing until we can identify who are the superspreaders.
