  1. I have three WR I the top twelve in fantasy points and two of the top five QBs. I'm willing to trade any of them for a RB, make an offer.
  2. You may be completely right, and I may be way off base, but I think you're making it a bigger deal than it is.
  3. Lighten up Francis, team building is good.
  4. Yep, you had plenty of time to swap Carson for Connor. Mismanaging your roster cost you the game. I hope that game costs you a playoff spot. Davis will take touches from Carson. You're fuked going forward if Bell doesn't get traded soon.
  5. When Earl Thomas signed his four year forty million dollar deal Seattle made him the highest paid safety in the league. The Seahawks decided not to sign him to a long term deal at thirty years old with recent injury issues and again make him the highest paid safety in the league. Understandable. They were activiely trying to trade him. Thomas is under contract, Bell is not, different situation. The Seahawks owe him nothing.
  6. Wilson didn't target the head or hit him from behind. It looked like good back checking to me, I have no problem with the hit.
  7. Owners are evil and players are slaves. You just don't get it.
  8. If thinking America is the best country to live is old trope I'm good with it. Your right, there are lots of nice countries, I visit them often, but there's no better place to live.
  9. I wasn't trying to debate you, or say you are wrong. I was curious on your thoughts and reasoning. Nice dickish response, good job.
  10. I get the government, but why the country? There's no better place to live.
  11. I spent three years in Germany. I'm a huge Bundesliga fan, if you started a thread I'd contribute.
  12. @josie, thanks for responding, I'll reply when I have more time.
  13. Maybe, but it's an ongoing thing every year.
  14. I was not referring to Gordon. Starting guys on IA can affect wins and losses, which can affect who makes the playoffs. There's a button to click that maximizes your roster for the week, it takes twenty seconds. If you can't find two minutes a week to set your roster give up your team. I don't think I'm out of line here.
  15. Derrico, how many guys do you have on your waiting list? Can we institute a policy that anyone starting a guy on IA gets replaced? It's only week three for fuks sake!
  16. I think in fairness to the Pegulas, they've learned from thier mistakes and both teams are trending in the right direction. In fairness to LGR, Pi, dig out your own posts where you argued Connor Cook would be an NFL QB. ?
  17. There are acceptions of course, but it takes dedication, extremely hard work and intellect to reach the top of your profession. This includes athletes. When someone says an athlete doesn't understand the risks they take in thier own profession, the way they earn thier money, but that you somehow are smart enough to see what the athlete cant, you're disparaging the athletes intelligence and education. You're implying that you're intellectually superior to who you view as ignorant Meatheads. Am I the only one who sees this as wrong? Who amongst us has reached the top of our profession? I was very successful in the army but I never did. I doubt anyone else on here has either.
  18. You're probably right, the owners are full of schit. They're business owners, and like all business owners (few exceptions maybe?), They want to maximize profits. That doesn't equate to being slave owners.
  19. I like the fancy stats very much and appreciate the people who put the time and effort into the charts, but this made me laugh. ?
  20. Brown and Green are available for a RB.
  21. A young Filipino woman replies to a job opportunity in South Korea. The company interviews her, helps her get her paperwork in order and flies her into Seoul. When she arrives, they take her passport and force her to work as a juicy girl in a bar on hooker Hill in Iteawon. She's told she can work off her debt for bringing her over by earning xx amount of dollars by getting men to buy her drinks and turning tricks. Sometimes hooking is optional depending on the owner. If she's lucky, a GI will fall in love with her, buy her freedom, and marry her. These are woman who are being prayed upon. Football players have a job, to play football. If they can't do their job they may be replaced, like any other employee in any other job. I think calling them preyed upon and referring to them as slaves is the height of stupidity. Why do so many posters think they are educated enough to understand the risks that these poor criminally mistreated professional athletes take, but the athletes themselves are too stupid to understand it them selves? They're all just ignorant Meatheads? Pathetic.
  22. My wife made me shave my beard.
  23. Suicidal thoughts amongst the retired are common in all facet's of society. Sports, military, corporate, everywhere. I went through it myself. It's a tough transition. Hockey is a business, ROI matters. Players are slaves? Typical Hoss. Also predictable which posters jump on board. Good grief.
  24. Josie - "pull yourself up by your bootstaps". There's something to this. It's not a bad motto to have in life. You seem to use it in a disparaging context. It's not code for being a bad person. I'm sorry for you that that seems to be your experience. Just my two cents, which, admittedly, isn't worth very much.
