  1. Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory- Dr. Seuss
  2. This is starting to sound less like an episode of the Sopranos and more like a hockey club.
  3. One trick I've used in the past is to cut a potato in half and prep the grill before hand by rubbing the cut surface of the potato over the grill. The starch helps make the grill non stick to a certain degree. It sounds funny but it really does work. To clean I'll take an onion and cut it in half and rub the cut side on the hot surface of the grill. The moisture of the onion steams the grill clean. Moisture and some enzyme that exists ? Old wives method I heard one time. This really works as well. The other thing I do is just scrape the crud off with a hardwood scraper I fashioned in the shop. You can get fancy and notch it to fit the ridges of the grill or just use a block with an angle to give it a relatively sharp edge. On a propane grill I'll use all of the same methods. With propane I'll also use the furnace of hell method and just cook the shite off. I'm just real paranoid about wire brush bristles.
  4. Love those x-rays of wire brush bristles inside people. Lots of fun. I never use them. There are safer ways to clean the grill. Not easier but safer.

    Briere?

One thing people seem to forget is that we got to see the absolute best that Briere had to give. We were lucky to have him when we did. His greatness didn't exist before Regier brought him in and he was never really the same player after he left. At least imo.

    Briere?

Briere was as exciting as they come. But its over for him. Retire and get into colour on the broadcasts. For that I'd welcome him back with open arms. Not to wear the jersey.
  7. Looking forward to the new Mission Impossible Friday night. WooHoo datenite with the wife. The trailer looks good with Tom doing many of his own stunts. Bout time these pussies earned their money.
  8. ROR will enter this season with something to prove. Now thats a scary thought.
  9. I'll stick to my chrome grill dog. That propane gets all up in my mouth.
  10. I also think that when tiger lost his Dad he also lost his common sense. I'm not sure the sleaze would have happened with his Father and biggest supporter in the picture.
  11. Tigers problem is his swing. He shouldn't have tried to re-invent what wasn't broken.
  12. sticky situation
  13. good for Lou. 72 years old. He'll do more napping than team building.
  14. Looking back at that era that was a time when cigarette ads had doctors extolling the virtues of smoking. Its crazy the misinformation that the tobacco companies got away with at that time.
  15. Provorovs likely the best d man in the draft. They're not likely to move him.
  16. That and there's little to no damage anywhere but the window. Unless that panel below the window is also a replacement but the metal border below the window and above the odd coloured panel hasn't been damages either. Perhaps he thought this was the drivethrough ? lol
  17. moulsons best days are clearly behind him. But he can still chew a mean mouthguard.
  18. Them BJs are really under- rated. Seriously they are building a good team.
  19. Yeah a buddy told me to make my own list and hopefully they cancel each other out. But really I don't mind. Its mostly stuff that can't be neglected for too long like fixing fences, house maintenance n shite like that.
  20. My wife is trying her damnedest to fill my time with a honey do list. She's got one taped to the fridge and as I complete each task she checks it off the list. Problem is she keeps adding to the list. I know. Hand in my mancard. You got to take the good with the bad I guess. I can't wait for this season to start.
  21. Ever try anything by Erving Welsh ? He wrote Trainspotting, Porno, and a bunch of others I can't remember. I've read a couple but it was a struggle because he also writes in a scottish slang. I found I was constantly calling my friend Peter who's a scot to ask him the meaning of strange phrases and such.
  22. Good one. It would be hard to unwind getting home from a job like that.
  23. Is he Dunkin donuts ?
