Another great game last night with Team Europe making it interesting though I'm not sure the outcome was ever in doubt. The best hockey being played on the planet right now and its crickets in this thread which is funny as hell. I thought there were hockey fans on this site. If Canada wins it'll be nice that ROR will have a world cup trophy for all his hard work leading up to that moment. So happy he's repping the Sabres .

So many players seeking redemption and striving for big years personally can only mean good things for this team collectively. Ennis, Lehner, Girgs, Moulson,Franz,Kane. Who am I missing ? That and the youth movement that is looking to take another step with Jack and Sam. I can't wait to see how this all shakes out. Not to mention the new guys in Okposo and the russian Kuchirovinoff.

That my friends was a great game. I never thought I'd openly cheer for Marchand but he had a great game as did Crosby. A thoroughly dominant performance if not for the stellar play of the Russian tender in the first 2 periods this would have been an epic blowout.

I was too busy watching Crosby to notice the chump he robbed. Dammit. That was our guy :doh:

Gump is a hell of an actor but when his face pops into our heads when we think of any event that has happened previous to like yesterday its getting a bit much. They could do the story of Desmond Tutu and I'm sure ol Tom would make the short list.

It almost seems unfair to the other teams. Both team Canada and team U.S.A. have very bright futures.

Playing Canada is like viagra for the U.S. team. They'll get up. That and the Euro team just called into question their ability. They have something to prove.

He doesn't need nose candy to act like a complete entitled manslut when he goes out. Most of these guys have had women throw themselves at them since they were in their early teens. Puck bunnies, team mates mothers, you name it they've had it. They don't often hear the word ' no ' in regards to a certain segment of society and you add professional paid athlete to the resume and it kicks into another gear with the whole its all about security set. Cocaine doesn't make these guys any more confident with women than they already are.
