    Grigrenko= Big Bust, his skating is just average. Look at the league the last couple of years. The best teams are big, fast and have mobile defense.

    Kings don't look like the same team from their cup days. They look slow as Vancouver played a solid defensive game. Losing Richards, Williams, Stool and Voynov seems to be haunting them. I know it's early but they have hardly any solid chances. It should be interesting to see if they still slide.

    That's why Buffalo needs to pull out at least 1 win in the 3 game home stand. Games 4-5 in Florida and Tamp Bay. We could be 0-5.

    Babcock should have stayed in Detroit. Larkin is going to be a superstar in this league. I know is was just the Leafs but he's pretty darn good. Another Red Wing Gem not found in the top of the draft.

    Like most say if this team was to compete for a playoff team this year a lot of players would have to exceed expectations.

    You know what I'm talking about. Those two aren't even on the same level but pay wise is close.

    You want big money than you need to earn it. Sorry big name players show up on the score sheet. I like O'Reilly but if you want to be paid superstar money then you need to produce. I know they played two tough teams but I thought they would show more than they have in the first two games.

    Most analysts know this team isn't making the playoffs. I don't want to believe it until we have about 40-50 games in. We obviously need to upgrade our defense and goaltending in the near future.

    I would rather keep riding Johnson and give Nathan or Andrey some game time. No need to trade high picks for a goalie. I wasn't a fan of trading that first but I'm not a fan of what I've seen from Lerner anyway. For a guy his size he needs to come out and challenge these shooters instead of sitting so far back in his net and get picked apart. But I will give him time. Not a fan of trading for a goalie right now and then when Lerner comes back u have 3 goalies and one will need to get waived because their won't be any trade value in any of them. What started as our teams strength in defense a year ago has now become our weakness. Quicker and smooth breakouts lead to offense and I'm not seeing that.

    I'm kinda wondering the same thing. I would just send him back to juniors and tell him his skating is fine just work on getting bigger and stronger.

    I'm not gonna panic just yet but they have some tough games coming and if they want to have any shot at the playoffs they can't start the season slowly. We all knew it's gonna take time but this team could possibly be 0-5 before we face Toronto. And what happens if Toronto actually beats us. Hopefully getting Zach and Brian back it should get better. Both are solid players when they are in the lineup. What's with Reinhart's ice time going down. Wondering if he gets sent down.

    It will come together but let's remember one thing the defense gets the play started most times and our defense is suspect at best. Here's a thing that needs to be noted O'Reilly is the highest paid guy on the team and suppose to be your top line guy and of right now doesn't look like he's earning that pay. We have some tough games coming up as we could possibly start the season 0-5 before we face the Leafs.

    The guy is pure hustle. Some of the regular guys on Buffalo need to work harder.

    I like Reinhart and it should be interesting to see what happens with him going forward in the next few games. But in all honesty this team needs help on defense. They need to make better decisions coming out of the zone and a lot quicker.

    It's obvious this team needs a goalie but more importantly some defense. It's too early to tell will Robin is going to be.

    Can we please rid ourselves of that crummy goal song. I know we only scored one almost two but hearing that stupid song makes me think I would rather have no song. I hope others feel the same way.

    Who else felt like they weren't skating hard. And for most of the game to much coasting.

    I feel they can beat Ottawa tonight if they skated hard and fore checked. I agree with that challenge. Stupid rule and can kill teams momentum in hockey games.

    They have offensive talent but we need to see them skating hard. Too much coasting at times and far too much individual play.

    This is my take on the game. Not enough hustle. This offense is talented but they need to play as a unit and get in hard on the forecheck. Rosto needs to move the puck up the ice quicker and the defense has to stop pinching in so much. Their not fast enough to get back. I thought Zemgus hustled a lot tonight but this team has to play as a team too much individual play. If they skate hard the best Ottawa. I guess that's where I'm frustrated.
