Exactly- plus if Edmonton wins the lottery again I think your going to have a lot of pissed off people.

What really needs to happen is since we lost both lotteries the last two drafts it would be nice if we won it this year. It would only be fitting.

I'm sure Edmonton thought the same thing. But I think if McDavid doesn't get injured they would be close to a playoff spot in the west. He was leading all rookies before the injury. You look at Buffalo and these are the things that stand out to me. Ennis, Kane, Moulson all have been disappointing. Yes Kane has picked it up of late but I expected more from him. To me it just seems that they needed better play from their so called veterans.

I think he did. I would have done almost anything to move up to grab him.

These scouts must be blind because it's easy to see this guys ability. He should have been in the top 5-10.

I agree with Lehner I don't know about playoffs. Like I said awhile back if they got 20 more goals from 4 players things might be different. You can probably figure out which 4 players I'm talking about. 20 more goals would translate into at least 4 more wins.

I have no idea that Larkin could have lasted so far in that draft. It's easy to see he's a top player. His skating, vision and playmaking stands out.

I haven't seen this documentary yet but their is always two sides to a story and if the makers are just taking one side that's an issue. Especially that of a murderer. I work in a jail and if any of u ever worked this profession you will see most inmates are complete idiots. I'm curious to see this documentary but I'm positive their is a ton of evidence that their not gonna show that is important to that case.

I don't think Murray was thinking Tank this season but improvement as a team. They are better to watch this year but u throw in Kane, Ennis, Moulson, Girgensens all having bad years. If we had a combined 20 more goals from those 4 players(which I don't think that was to much to ask) they would possibly be right on the cusp of making the playoffs.

I think you can throw in Kane into disappointing section. Plus u can add Moulson, Ennis, and Girgensons all having their worst offensive output this year and now you have the making of a bottom 5 team. Kind of sad but I was expecting a lot more from the Sabres this year. Is it on coach Bylsma? Don't know but It's obvious Babcock has done more with less in Toronto.

Well hopefully third times a charm at this lottery ball crap. But in all honesty the top 5 in this draft look good. They need a finisher in the worst possible way. This team is competitive they just can't score.

Excellent assessment on those trades. Most of those moves were purely tank moves besides the O'Reilly , Kane and Bogo deal. To me I expected more out of Kane. Lerhner deal I don't know about that deal. I thought he overpaid a first for him but he still has time to develop into a solid goalie. I look at this team when we play teams with speed this team has trouble plus we lack some pure goal scorers. I would really love to finish in the bottom 5 and snag another solid player and replenish our prospect pool.

It's been average. The Kane deal needed to happen but him and Bogo haven't really done much. Kane to me for now has been a disappointment. McNabb trade I still feel is a good one when Fasching is ready to be here. I think we really need another bottom 5 finish and replenish the prospects and grab another stud

I can hear it now. What's going on with hockey Canada? Well I will tell you that a lot of countries are developing players that are just as good or better. Sweden is developing players just as fast as the US or faster. Come on we call baseball Americas pastime but other countries are better than us at it.

I feel the same way. I'm torn because they have been competitive in most games they lost but I see if we land a top 5 pick that should and I say should set us up well in the future. This team is lacking prospects in the system and could use another d-man or two plus another solid scorer not named Fasching, Bapiste, or Bailey. To me watching this team play this season it seems like they have trouble with teams with speed. It should be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out. They put together a 3-5 game win streak and it's right back in a playoff position. And if they lose 3-5 games in a row they could be at the bottom. I see Anaheim moving themselves out of the bottom 5 very shortly. Too much talent on that team not to. Edmonton when McDavid gets back will win a lot more games. Toronto to me has played really well for what they have and have set themselves up nicely for the future with Nylandet and Marner. Columbus I don't believe will finish at the bottom. I see San Jose as possibly being at the bottom as I feel either Mareau or big Joe gets moved.

That's good to hear because we really need to replenish our prospects. Didn't really hear much about him in camp.

We all know he's an excellent player but nobody really ever crushes this guy. A lot of other smallish players get hit and hit hard but this guy hardly ever does.
