If Murrays deals for O'Reilly and he gives up a ton I'm gonna be pissed. I'm not thrilled about a player that wants big money for putting up 40-55 points a season. I would be fine if Buffalo gave Colorado those three for O'Reilly. My concerns is the amount of money he wants. I don't want to pay a player like him that kind of money.

I would much rather Murray sign a free agent goalie for the short term until some of our prospects are ready.

Since the beginning of the Sabres 40+ years this team has always found goaltenders. I think we already have a decent supply of young goalies that just lack nhl experience. I would much rather Murray sign a free agent goalie rather than trading for one unless your trading a pick not in the first two rounds.

I'm not a fan of doing rfa's. You open up other GM's doing it to you later on eventually. As much as I would like taking Samsonov with pick 21 I would much rather have a winger or d-man. Plenty of good goalies in all rounds of these drafts.

Reinhart for O'Reilly- just shows you how stupid they are. Don't get me wrong O'Reilly is a solid player but Reinhart could turn into something special. We shall see. Plus I don't like the fact that a guy who hasn't been in the league that long already is having contract issues. I get it he wants to get paid but I don't know if he's worth what he thinks he is. I just hope Murray doesn't trade (overpay again) for a guy like this.

I hope nobody trades anything major to Toronto or Edmonton.

I would rather grab a free agent goalie and keep the picks for prospects. I feel we can draft a goalie plus we should have some coming long-term. This team isn't contending right now anyway and just because we draft Eichel doesn't mean he's coming out of college hockey just yet. Nobody knows that answer just yet. I would much rather them keep 21 and Grigs. I get they don't want to take the chance on Grigs not making the club and having to pass thru waivers but I wouldn't give up on the guy just yet either. It's far too early.

I highly doubt Buffalo drafts another russian. Too much uncertainty with those players.

Im glad this season is done. Let's get the draft and free agency here so we can once again get excited for Sabres hockey because let's admit it that these have been the longest two seasons of watching sabres hockey ever. I want to see Murray and his scouts make moves and I'm not talking about overpaying for O'Reilly. Draft some good young players, try to get that free agent defenseman that is Columbus property for the moment and continue to find players to speed up this rebuild.

I wouldn't buy him out. See what he does this season and if he continues to suck then buy him out next season. I'm about giving the guy a chance since he still is young or why not package him, Grigrenko and the 21st pick for something. At least you would give two players a new beginning somewhere else as I still believe they have value. -
I agree why give away the farm in order to speed up the rebuild. I personally don't think we need O'Reilly and he wants to much cash for what he does.

Plenty of free agent goalie's to sign for the short term. I don't believe we should give up high picks for a goalie. Let Irbe continue to work with whoever we get next season. I just don't believe we should rush this whole process. The offense should be better in 2015-16 and as well as the defense. Lindback wasn't bad when he was number 1 and isn't the answer longterm but this team could use that time to develop one or two.

All I can say is that this team has plenty of time to scout all these kids the last two years and if they do keep the late first rounder and the 2 second's they can't afford to miss on these picks.

All this talk about Arizona needing centers and Carolina thinking about trading it's top 5 pick to Toronto. What does Murray have planned with Grigrenko, Hodgson and the 21st pick. To me these 3 have more upside then Kessel does who seems like is a locker room cancer and Kadri has to mature. Lets face it Hodgson had the worst season in his hockey career and Grigrenko should be better this year and the 21st pick gives them a player to build with. Why not try to move all three to Arizona who Darcy knows well or even Carolina and swing a deal for Marner.

Get to Know - Disco Dan Bylsma

I don't know what to think about Bylsma. I really wanted Todd McLellan or Babcock and I would much rather have Boucher than Disco Dan. This team put all their eggs in one basket for Babs and should have made that same effort for McLellan and now stuck on Bylsma because he's the last of proven coaches. I just don't think he's going to be the guy that gets all these young guys to fully meet their potential. -
I get all the Babcock hype but gee we make it sound like he's the best coach ever. A lot of us thought that Brian Burke going to Toronto would turn that team around and look what happened there. Plenty of coaches out there but I'm hoping Byslma isn't one were interested in. It's not the end of the world that he didn't come to Buffalo. I still think he wanted to have a ton of say in hockey matters and I think Toronto grossly overpaid for him. He's inheriting a mess.

I don't want Dan Bylsma at all. We need a coach that can help develop all these kids. I'm not worried about Babcock going to the Leafs. They will still suck. I believe he wanted more control over hockey matters where in Buffalo he wouldn't have as much. Until more changes happen in Toronto I still see them rebuilding for the next few years. -
I would much rather move Cody or Grigs than start moving out other pieces. I hope he doesn't overpay like he did with Kane and Bogo. He gave up way to much. I get he wanted these guys but Myers for Bogo was a wash but 4 players for Kane. That's a lot for a guy that Winnipeg was having problems with. People are selling Psysk short as I believe he showed he belongs but was left in Rochester this season for a reason. Zadorov should be better has size can skate and play physical. With the right coaching he and another year older(maturity wise) he should be better. You just don't give up on all these players so quickly. I'm always a believer good scouting goes a long way in sports. You need scouts that can find players in the later rounds and hit.

I like O'Reilly but I just don't think you give up a ton to get him. Grigs, Hodgson and the late first are plenty to me but I highly doubt Colorado wants those two players. I think Cody if he's on this team to start the year will rebound and if Grigs continues to work he should be much improved.

If I were Murray I would be looking at that UFA to be from Minnesota Gophers defenseman Reilly. I'm all for signing a player that costs nothing at all to get especially if Columbus can't sign him.

I don't think Babs comes here as he will stay in Detroit or go to Toronto. I'm not expecting him to be in Buffalo at all and yes he's a good coach but he will have his work cut out for him if he takes the Buffalo job or Toronto job.

I just don't see Babcock going to Buffalo. I highly doubt he leaves Detroit. We will get Richardson, Boucher or someone else that's gonna help the kids.

I'm impressed with watching Eichel in this tourney. His skating, smarts are top notch. I know he's 18 but he seems once he has a full time coach at the NHL level that he's going to cleanup the small things in his game making him an elite level player. What I'm talking about is his ability to take his game to another level. The kid is definetly strong on his skates and seems like he's got an elite level shot but his vision and passing are top notch. I can't wait when Murray calls his name at number 2. I wouldn't mind Murray to try to sign Reilly from Minnesota since they say he's going to be a UFA.

If Hodgson is on this team before next season starts I highly doubts he plays as bad as he did this year. He said it was his worst year in his life since he started playing. I think with the right coach and line mates he regains his offensive touch. If not he will be casted off. I still think Murray is going to move some players and or picks at the draft for a proven young player.
