He’s not the answer at QB

Like I said in a previous post awhile back. Bills have a great defense with a mediocre QB. Time to start looking for a new one!

Don’t see this trade helping much. Scandella was gone no matter what as probably Frolik will be gone at the end of the season. This team needs to find a hidden gem like the Briere and Hasek trade.

Sad but true. But in all honesty. Not many free agents want to come to Buffalo. I’m surprised Skinner stayed.

It’s sad because the fans of Buffalo and I’m talking both teams deserve better. I moved away to Vegas back in 89 and have followed the Sabres constantly until we got the Golden Knights. Now most people here in Vegas are Knights fans even though they came from other hockey markets. The building has an energy that I can say most nhl teams don’t have. I watched that game last night with Buffalo and Tampa and there is no way you blow a 4-1 lead at home. Buffalo has a lot of youthful legs and they were outworked the second half of the game. Eichel is on another level this year and it’s sad to see because he’s basically carrying this team by himself. We all know they need to make some trades but what do you really expect to get for Bogo, Scandella, and Miller? Miller who was here in Vegas wasn’t that bad when he was here. I know he fell out of favor in year 2 but was pretty decent in our expansion year. Guy can skate and has a rocket shot when it actually hits the net. He makes some pretty poor decisions with the puck sometimes and doesn’t want to take a hit to make a play. I don’t know what Buffalo has to do to fix this mess it’s like a complete overhaul of the hockey department. I have been saying for like 20 years a team like Buffalo and I’m talking both the Sabres and Bills needs to find their talent through the draft because premier players aren’t signing contracts in free agency to go to Buffalo. It ain’t happening!

Josh Allen isn’t an accurate passer and to me he isn’t the answer long term.

I like that Allen is super competitive but he’s not that accurate and it seems like when’s he has to make a play he can’t. You either have it in you or you don’t and I just don’t see it. As far as the Sabres go it’s like they can’t figure it out. If your a player for this team it’s got to be frustrating.

Don’t blame you. It’s sad because the fans deserve better. It’s like the city is cursed. Plus I’m not putting too much into this Bills team either. They have a great defense and a mediocre offense with just an okay quarterback. I’m not sold on Allen. I don’t think the guy is the answer.

What’s up with this team. It’s like all these guys forgot how to play the game. If I’m Eichel how can you be happy about this team year in and year out. They are an absolute joke of the league. It’s like constantly rebuilding with GM’s and coaches. Players seem to die in Buffalo. Miller who was here in Vegas was actually pretty decent and then gets moved to Buffalo and he’s scratched practically every night. Even Dahlin seems like he’s lost. This team I think might need an overhaul at the top on down. Like I have been saying for years with the Sabres and Bills that this team needs to draft and develop their players properly because no big name free agents are coming to Buffalo! I wouldn’t be surprised Eichel will want out soon.

Been a total bust.

Olofsson can definitely shoot the puck. I like what’s in the pipeline as well.

Ristolainen needs to take a wait and see approach. New coaching staff can change the whole outlook of a team. I believe they finally added a coach that this team desperately needed. I wanted Housley gone mid-season last year. He just seemed too soft for this group.

Throw Bogo to them. He can’t stay healthy.

Definitely agree with needing to add a stud defenseman. Right now on the roster they have 3 really good defenseman in Theodore, Schmidt, and McNabb. I really don’t think people know how good McNabb really is. He’s not the greatest skater but he’s an all around good defenseman. They have at least 4 young defenseman they are grooming to take over 3 of those spots.

Being a season ticket holder for the Knights their defense is concerning but they do have like 3-4 defenseman they are grooming to make the team by next season or the following.

I think with all the players leaving the Jackets they won’t be making the playoffs.

I really liked Miller and was sad to see him go but was thrilled he went to Buffalo.

Anything u guys want to know about Miller just ask. Seen him daily the last two seasons. I’m hoping he changed his curve for Buffalo’s sake. He’s got a cannon but misses the net a lot. That was one thing that fans couldn’t stand about him in Vegas.

I’m hoping to see Buffalo’s top line have a solid game tonight. We need another win. Let’s start the season off right. Let’s go Buffalo!

I can agree with that. That Stone trade looks like a steal right now and I absolutely was bummed when Branstrom was part of that trade, but damn is Stone really good.

Has the Sabres announced their road-show yet? Last year in Vegas was awesome. Hoping it comes here again this year. They pick character players who play two way hockey. If u lived here you would absolutely love them. Plus these players are great with the community.

They have a lot of picks in the next two drafts. They have their top 6 set for a least 4+ years. Plenty of time to draft and develop. Only move I really hated was the Tatar trade from Detroit, that was brutal. He never really fit in

Watching Subban closely the last two years when our Knights would play them this guy has offensive skills but his defense is not very good. I think he’s highly overrated.
