As a season ticket holder of the Knights and a Sabres fan, this years Knights team is trash. All the injuries plus suspect goaltending in Lehner. Dumping Fleury was a huge huge mistake as he was the face of this franchise. Management went all in the last few seasons and it has failed miserably. The chemistry has been off this year and the trade of Eichel for Tuch, Krebs, and that 1st rounder didn’t bring more success to the Knights. I thought the trade would benefit both teams but the more Eichel has played the more you see the laziness. What I’m talking about is we know he’s super talented but he’s all over the place in the defensive zone without actually picking up the man and in the offensive zone he doesn’t forecheck hard enough when not having the puck. It’s like he wants the wingers to do all the hustling and grinding and him hang back. I want players to skate hard. I also see why Montreal couldn’t stand Pacioretty. Yes he has a great shot but the guy is lazy besides how often this guy gets injured. When he plays his best is when he’s pissed off. Last playoffs for instance you would think you are playing your former team that you captained and you were floating around way to much getting outplayed by the guy the Knights traded you for. Nick Suzuki. I absolutely hated that trade. I’m hoping the Sabres don’t blow this rebuild because I like what I’m seeing from them. To me since that Eichel trade and Sabres don’t look like the same team. Tuch and Krebs have been very good for Buffalo besides the emergence of Thompson and Dahlin.

I thought Butcher, Pysyk or Miller would have gotten moved today which didn’t happen.

Wow, great shot by Dahlin and I hope this is his game moving forward because he looked dominant!

He definitely is showing it tonight. If this how he continues to play going forward he is going to be a handful for any team playing against him.

I thought the guy was a turnover machine. Don’t give two shits they traded his ass.

Wasn’t a fan of Hagg, guy isn’t that good.

^ This, I’ve been saying this for years. I think Vegas would have been okay with their 5 year plan if they didn’t trade a lot of draft picks and then the Pacioretty deal which was brutal. Plus here in Vegas the dumping of Fleury was the downfall. Future hall of famer who loved Vegas and he was the fan favorite here. Ex GM McPhee and McKimmon have done a great job of ***** up this team with all these big contracts and brutal trades.

Was at the Colorado vs VGK game. Eichel looked pretty good for not playing in 11 months. Yeah he had two penalties but nothing to worry about. I still think they trade some players before the deadline to create space. We shall see. But I really believe this trade helps both teams. I love Tuch and Krebs since I have seen both play here in Vegas but I’m also a huge Eichel fan. So it’s a win win.

Both are solid players with a lot to prove. I like the trade for both teams.

^ This, Dahlin isn’t even close to Hedman and nobody on this Sabres roster is like Stamkos, Point or Kucherov.

I think Eichel is going to be a big time player in Vegas.

Dahlin is brutal on defense. He’s needs to work on his defensive game. He’s gives opposing players way too much space.

^ This. Way too much gap given to opposing players. They need to hire a d coach that can drill this in their heads. Most disorganized team that has come into T Mobile all season.

Terrible. Looks like coaching to me.

Crazy because every team that has come into T mobile arena hasn’t look this disorganized. I get the Sabres are short handed up front but they don’t look good at all. Arizona when they are here play with more structure then Buffalo does.

They need some defensive coaching big time. They are lost in their own end. Tuch is probably like get me off this ***** squad!

Out of all the teams that I have watched this season in Vegas they look the most disorganized.

They need to fix their defensive game. Way too much room given to players. They ain’t coming back in this one.
