That’s great to hear. I was also in Anaheim early in the season to watch Buffalo play there and the atmosphere was good but not like Vegas. I know it’s much more then just a hockey game here in Vegas. Always hear how impressed other teams players are when they get done playing here. It’s been a loud building all season. I heard at the beginning of the season we had some issues with our fans giving $hit to opposing fans but I have heard they kinda cleaned that stuff up. To me you make all the city look bad when you start pulling $hit like that.

If he was still in Pittsburgh. I think you see Murray come in. Fleury was unbelievable the first 3 series but then again the team played much better in front of him. Vegas looked rattled since game 2. Hardly any second chances. And then the save on Tuch which will probably go down as one of the greatest in Stanley Cup History. Lack of production from the first three lines especially the second and third lines is killing this team. At least the first line is generating chances. They carried this team the whole playoffs. I look at two players not performing when they are needed most and that’s Erik Haula and David Perron. 4th line has been great all year. I can’t tell you guys how important Bellemare really is. I wish Buffalo had his leadership. This guy needs this offseason to heal. He’s been battered all year. Pucks and sticks to the face, blocking shots and so much more. Guy isn’t going to wow you with stats but is solid defensively. Hey now they have to pull of the impossible against Washington. Do I think they can? 2 of 3 games in Vegas. You never know. This team doesn’t call themselves the Golden misfits for nothing. We shall see what they are made of now. No matter what happens nobody and I mean nobody would have thought they would have made it to the Finals in year 1. Wilson has more game and can play he doesn’t need to pull that crap. Spot on you are. The team hasn’t played that great in front of him this series as well. But hey they weren’t even supposed to make it this far. I can’t tell you what this team means to this city. I have lived here since 89 and never and I mean never thought I would have guessed hockey would have taken off like it has here. The atmosphere inside T Mobile has been unbelievable all season. I was at an Arizona game this year on a Saturday night and it was like 50% Arizona fans and 50% opposition fans but the building felt like a mogue. It was so boring and couldn’t wait to get back home. Full season seats sold out for next season in March and now a wait list for future holders. Crazy I tell you. I don’t think the Raiders are going to have as many local fans as the Knights do. We don’t even want the Raiders here.

As a Knights fan I don’t think we are coming back in this series. But I’m not gonna give up on them. Love these players. A lot of character guys on this team. Hey they were 500-1 odds before the season. Nobody and I mean nobody seen this coming. I’m just hoping the guys that had these bets hedged them.

We have gotten outplayed practically the entire series. You Happy now? Come on the hockey gods wanted Ovi to win. What we did to Los Angeles, San Jose and Winnipeg is exactly what Washington is doing to us. I will be the first one to tell you as I told others here that are new to hockey. If Vegas drops both games in Washington we are done. It’s been a fun ride here in Vegas and I know they have a lot of young prospects coming plus tons of picks coming. Only move I question was the Tatar move. I still think McPhee was going all in on Karlsson and when that move fell though he panicked and took that Tatar Deal. Only good thing is it will be the 30th pick. I’m also excited to see what happens in the offseason with Buffalo as well. Botterill needs to find some hidden gems through out the draft in order to rebuild that team.

See SwampD and others their will be suffering in Vegas. I have to admit Washington looked great in the Finals. Hitting, timely scoring, huge saves. Everything that Vegas had in the first 3 series.

That’s my concern as well. Most of us that play hockey or season ticket holders are wondering that same thing. But this team should be set for years to come with the picks and young talent they should have in the next few years.

Holtby with an unbelievable save on Tuch last night. Almost everyone by me was celebrating and I was yelling he saved it. Too damn funny some of these people learning the game. One thing I don’t get is everyone knows Ovi takes his spot in his office but I don’t know why more teams don’t lean more his way knowing that one timer is eventually coming. Take Oshie in the slot and let one of their other non snipers try to beat you. I know Ovi is a future hall of famer but gee we all know that shot is coming. I see the Buffalo News had a whole article about Buffalo fans living in Las Vegas and my buddies family is in it. See I was telling you people. It’s not like this team moved here it’s our team. Doesn’t mean we don’t like the Sabres anymore. I’m still love the Sabres but what I don’t like is their inability to fix that team because let’s face it the fans deserve better especially Buffalo fans. If you were here when I moved here back in 89 and you would of told me this city would take a loving for a hockey team I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s crazy to see how many fans that I know watched hockey for their first time this season and have fell in love with this game. I think that’s great to see and great for the game.

You can say that about any game too many factors to say this team or that team doesn’t win. Missed calls on both sides. Perron getting mugged in the corner, Miller getting his stick slashed out of his hands. Reeves with the crosscheck on Carlsson, McNabb with the slash at Ellers stick in the last 20-30 seconds. Which would have been a great penalty to take since he saved a goal. Refs have been $hit most playoffs. That was Fluerys worst game of the playoffs. It was an off night for him. He put the 4th goal in his own net. It was . Absolute targeting of a teams top player. I’m sure that was Wilson getting Marchessault back after he hit Oshie late in front of Fleury. I do know Marchy loves talking

As much as you been giving me $hit I would be glad to take another fellow Buffaloian on Board with Vegas. That wasn’t as close to a good game for Vegas. They played pretty sloppy compared to what they normally play like.

Wilson is a garbage player. Would love to see Reeves pummel him that way he can put his tail between his legs the rest of the series. Still bitter? Washington, Ovi, and that POS Wilson. Because I was a Sabres fan my whole life and Still a Sabres fan but I no longer live there so what does that mean I can’t have 2 teams. Give me a break! For years I was posting on here about Sabres Hockey. It’s not my fault they are run by inept people all these years. Do I still like them? Of course and I’m essatic that they will be able to draft Dahlin. I’m a big believer that Buffalo fans deserve much better then what is being given to them each year. We all know that Buffalo is starving for a Championship no matter which comes first. I would much rather have the Sabres because that is what I was into when I lived there. My Aunt was a season seat holder from inaugural season till 1995. We still both love them. Let’s face it these last few years their weren’t many great Sabres games to watch. I even went to Anaheim this year and at least they won the game I went to. They have been hard to watch for me plus I also work till 7pm most nights and by the time I get home they are already done. So what I love the Knights now that we have our own team here now. I mean come on nobody and I mean nobody seen this coming. Everyone thought they would be bottom 5-10 even myself. But the more the season went on you watch these guys and they really are a true team. Every player plays and every player contributes. Look today Reeves scores his first goal for the Knights today. Unbelievable what the sports World is seeing. So stop being bitter about it.

I can tell you that almost every single hockey player in Vegas has been rooting for Vegas so I guess you have a lot of bandwagon jumpers. I was there too wearing Sabres gear but let’s face it one organization knows how to do things while the other one seems like it’s a revolving door

Wow I have heard of one issue before and some idiots heckling other teams fans but sorry to hear about some idiots ruining your experience. I was there in my Sabres gear and no one said to me.

We shall see. I’m a big build thru the draft type of guy but you better have some great scouts and some serious eye for talent. You look at Buffalos drafting they hardly hit on players outside the first round. They need to be finding players all throughout the draft. Then you make a few shrewd trades here and there. I have to admit Murray was a risk taker and he tried to speed up the rebuild but he gave away too many high picks along the way and really didn’t have the eye for talent. With the first rounds picks almost any of us could have made the Eichel and Reinhart picks.

Fair enough but just stating the facts about why it’s been bad for way too damn long and it’s a shame because Buffalo fans deserve better. I will say this much at least Pegula is trying to fix both franchises. Does he finally have the right people in place? Only time will tell. I’m super happy that Buffalo finally won the lottery cause it’s about damn time. The draft lottery in sports is stupid anyways. I get it but it’s a tough sell for your fans as it’s usually not a quick turnaround.

I’m still a Sabres fan but Buffalo has been brutal to watch for almost my whole life. I moved to Vegas in 89 and was still a diehard fan until we got the Knights here. I still like the Sabres but come on. Ownership issues, personnel issues, GM issues, player issues. They had Scotty Bowman and they get Barrasso, Housley , Andreychuck and all get traded away. They finally have a great team in 99 and they don’t go out and get more offensive help with the best goalie in Hasek. Then you let 2 of your best players walk during free agency and then you wonder why this team has issues. Do you want me to talk about the Bills because besides the Jim Kelly years the football team is like the San Diego Padres a complete joke. If ownership doesn’t want to spend money to try to put the best team available out then why own the team. You make way more money when you are winning and people want your merchandise. Yes you have people that were put in positions that probably should of never been there in the first place. I know at least they tried to spend to the cap some years. I don’t know what happened with Bill Polian when he was here but they have had some really bad coaches, GM’s and players ever since.

Who in their right mind gave Bieksa a NTC is beyond me. He’s a stay at home defenseman who is slow and Yandle has defensive issues in his game and isn’t that great.

Don’t know but your telling me that these GM’s didn’t have time to make moves with their rosters so they wouldn’t have to lose a key piece. They all knew the expansion rules far in advanced it wasn’t like they couldn’t have dumped these players during the season.

I could see Pittsburgh losing Fleury because they could only protect one but they could have moved him for something else and let Vegas choose another player. All these GM’s had time to make moves with their rosters and didn’t. I’m getting tired of hearing gift wrapped players. Go back and look at who Anaheim protected. Vermette and Bieksa. Maybe their no trade clause was an issue but let’s face it both players are garbage. Look at Calgary we chose Engelland which we didn’t have to because he would have signed here anyway. We could have had Brouwer, Stajan, Versteeg, Stone or Elliot. And use them for trades later. Nashville protects Jarnkrok Florida protects Yandle and Petrovic. Minny protects an aging Pominville St. Louis protects Reaves Toronto protects Martin Washington protects Eller who has been third line material Winnipeg protects Lowry who is invisible Go back and look at the expansion lists. You guys can see for yourself at all the blunders. Sorry you watch this player in practice daily you have to have a clue of what he brings. It’s like when Vegas claimed Carpenter off waivers from San Jose you can see what he had in practice and that made Leipsic expendable.

I hope you have attended some games here in Vegas because if you haven’t you have no clue of what your talking about. I have been at almost every game this season and the only idiot fans I have seen all season were Philly fans. Yes their are idiots in every building. I remember games at the Aud where there were more fights in the stands then on the ice.

Really! First off nobody here in Vegas wants the Raiders at all. You have no clue to what your talking about. All I see here is people that are complaining because one teams Management and scouts did it right and a ton of other teams Management that has absolutely no clue.
