To me I'm all for taking Tippet or Mittelstadt. Grab a defenseman with the other picks. I have more faith in Bob McKenzie than Kevin Devine. This is what bothers me with this organization. They should be heavily invest in scouting with the emphasis on these kids.

Good haul for Vegas. I was at the show tonight and was happy with a lot of the players and picks coming back. I don't see Neal being here and wasn't thrilled about our Detroit pick. I would move a handful of those d-man. Methot, Merril, Sbisa, Schlemko. Funny thing I just skated with Derek Engelland about two weeks ago at T mobile. He lives here in Vegas so he's not going anywhere. 3 first rounders in the top 15. Good way to start a franchise. I know McPhee has more planned in the next couple of days but it's exciting to have our own team here.

Yeah I guess your right. Not really that bad but overpaid. The concern I have is it's more of a speed game now and let's face it he's slow

I would give them Theodore and NYI 1st rounder for #2. This way Vegas has pick 2 and 6. I really doubt anything happens with pick 2 unless a goalie or d-man involved.

I think a lot of players are part of three way deals after expansion draft. Goalies especially along with some defenseman. I wondering how many extra picks we wind up with. I wonder if they keep Theodore or move him because he could fetch some nice return.

I agree but living here in Las Vegas we our gonna need a decent team from the start. I have been playing hockey in this town since 91' and hockey has grown a ton but much more is needed to grow the sport here. You are gonna have a lot of players wanting to come here. First it's a warm weather city. Second no state tax which is huge. Third Housing, nightlife and places to eat.

Buffalo should draft Tippett or Casey Mittlestadt. Plenty of opportunities to draft defenseman plus talent on offense can be used to acquire defense

I'm a diehard Sabres fan since I was alittle kid in Buffalo. Grew up watching Housley, Tucker, Foligno, Andreychuck and Barrasso. But a lot of us hockey fans here in Vegas are excited to watch NHL hockey here and I know a lot of people here have season seats, partial season seats and we have people from all over.

We here in Las Vegas will have the jersey unveiling at the Las Vegas sign in 30min. And it's a 118 outside. Looking forward to see who we select and also interested to see if we have any more trades that include Buffalo. Exciting week out here in Vegas. Team announced tomorrow, entry draft on Friday and Saturday and then rookie camp here next week.

I will be at the award show/expansion draft as well with 9 other people. I was fortunate enough to skate at T-mobile twice and also have a quarter season seats. The building is beautiful and the ice is pretty damn good.

Draft lottery is completely stupid concept. Worst team gets first pick end of story. I get the whole idea behind it but not many teams willing to sell off every good player do rebuild. I know Buffalo did but we can all admit it hasn't worked out that well for us.
