Jack has been a major disappointment in my books. It’s like he’s going thru the motions. This team has dug themselves a huge hole and won’t be able to climb out. Another wasted year.

Face it this team is garbage. Worst thing is we will still lose the lottery. I agree.

They are absolutely boring to watch. I thought they would be better but they are just as bad as the Coyotes. Jack got paid and it’s like he hasn’t shown up yet to play. What a joke this team has become. All those picks wasted and they are still bad.

He’s needs to play like he actually cares. A lot of coasting. And it’s called being lazy. For a guy that got what he wanted he sure seems like he isn’t worth that contract.

So most likely another loss. Someone needs to wake Jack up and tell him the season has started and that did he forget he just signed a huge extension. He needs to stop pouting and start earning that paycheck.

I don't think they should trade Kane either. He's the one guy that show's up nightly. Yes he doesn't have the finish as other high end guy but at least he works hard when he's out there. I understand about the contract but trading him for picks will be taking this team back further. I mean they are already close to the bottom but don't get why so many people want him gone.

Pathetic. Eichel doesn't even seem like he wants to shoot the puck as much. I think this team doesn't like the system that Housley wants to play. Botteril has a mess on his hands. Plus as much as everyone wants Kane gone I just don't get it. All the games I watch him he plays hard. Yes he isn't that pure finisher but trading him and waiting more years for a player to develop if they even get that right player is even more concerning at this point.

Believe me Randall I'm upset as much as you with Buffalo. They should be better. Their Defense which I thought would be better doesn't look good at all. Eichel seems uninspired and the Reinhart experiment on the 3rd line isn't working. Put him back with Jack. The Powerplay which looked dangerous last year has seem to falter. This team is a mess. Plus it looks like many draft picks squandered on garbage. Very Sad state this team is in.

Randall they are better than Buffalo and are playing a simple game but they have players who can skate and they work hard. It’s okay if you think they aren’t good but at least they work hard for one another which is more than I can say about Buffalo. And Bellamare if you were to watch him closely like we do in Vegas is actually a pretty darn good 2 way forward. Yes he’s not gonna wow you with offense but his defensive game is solid. You have to know that a lot of these players have gotten expanded roles and are making the most out of it. Karlsson hasn’t been in the league that long and is a solid two way player. Plus a career AHLer in Brad Hunt has been playing solid defense. I will tell you this much we have a better defense and better goalies then Buffalo.

How many others on this board seem to notice Jack looks uninspired and he never turns it up a notch. A lot of coasting and not shooting as much as he the last two years. It’s like he knows he can half ass the game and still put up a point per game.

I just think he looks uninspired. For a guy that just got paid this is uncalled for. Him and O’Reilly need to be leaders and make the players around them better. But then you look at another issue this team has is overall team speed which they lack. Yes if they hustle and work hard they can compensate for some of that. But overall watching this team, they can’t play a 60 minute game to save their life. Just disappointing. It’s like they wake up on certain games and look like they might put it together and then other games it looks like they don’t know how to play the system. Like I said in previous posts if they skate hard and lose then so be it but what we have seen the last few years is complete garbage. If I still lived there I would be giving up my season seats until they figure out how to play a complete 60 minute game.

I just can’t believe how boring the Sabres have become. Very upsetting. I don’t mind if you lose but work and if you lose then so be it. I agree and spot on review of this team. I really like a 4th line as well. They are a solid line of Carrier, Nosek, and Bellamore. A lot of people think we have 2-3 second lines.

He looks uninspired. I went to Anaheim and then came back home to watch Buffalo play here in Vegas and it’s like watching that player who knows he could be a dominant factor in the game but dumbs down his game and just moves the puck around. It’s actually disappointing watching him. And Yes Vegas should finish better than Buffalo. We have better defense, better goalies and players that actually play hard unlike Buffalo. I’m still a Sabres fan but they are just no fun to watch.

This team works pretty damn hard and are more fun to watch then Buffalo. And in case your wondering yes I was born and raised in Buffalo and grew up a Sabres fan but have lived in Vegas longer. I have partial season seats and have watched many practices and this team just works and works hard. It’s like we have 3 second lines and a better defense than Buffalo.

This team isn’t making the playoffs this year. They look worse than last year. Plus someone needs to tell Jack that he just got paid and he needs to start to play like a dominant player that he is getting paid like. This team is a mess and not even fun to watch.

They should just admit this. You put forth a effort you are gonna lose. You skate hard and compete for the full 60 minutes you should be in every game.

It’s sad because they really shouldn’t be this bad. To me it’s bad on all levels with this team. A lot of wasted draft picks when we should and I said should have better scouting then the rest of the league since we have more scouts. God this team is a mess!

And he’s suppose to be one of the leaders! I’ve seen it as well. It’s like he got paid and said I can be a point per game guy just going 70% of what I need to do. He’s been a disappointment to me because he can be a dominant player if he wants to crank it up a notch. He does a lot of coasting out there. I thought Phil might be able to fix this but it looks like he’s in way over his head.

Yes originally from Buffalo but Live in Vegas. Still a Sabres fan but also a Golden Knights Fan when we are not playing Buffalo. Like I said in the post you won't want Ship. I can say this much I don't want him here in Vegas and I don't want him in Buffalo. Not saying he's isn't a decent player but he was outplayed by others to make this squad here in Vegas. He likes overpassing the puck when he should be shooting and just not overly impressed by him. McPhee has already said that he wants picks and/ or prospects coming back for any roster players.

As a season ticket holder for the Knights and still a Sabres fan you don’t want Shipachyov on Buffalo. I’m hoping some other teams over pays us for what he is. Buffalo needs defense and they need a good swift kick in the ass on offense. Too many lazy players. Believe me watching Ship in practice here in Vegas you don’t want him. Yes he has some skill to him but he was passed by others here for the top 6. I wasn’t a big fan of him. I’m more a fan of Alex Tuch because when both were sent down at the start of the season most knew Tuch had played himself onto this team. You look at the Boston game Tuch was in on the first two goals. He’s a force on the forecheck and tough on the back check. Yes I know it’s only been a handful of games here for the Knights but what I’ve seen is a hard working team. I expect Ship to be moved when the right offer comes. Prospect plus picks is my guess.

As a Knights fan as well I see him being moved. He’s a pass first guy with skill who likes to overpass. If we can get a top prospect back or a number 1 pick. McPhee will pull the trigger.

We shall see. The Knights have a lot of solid players. My favorite player is Alex Tuch. Thanks Minnesota for giving us a great young player. He’s big, can skate, goes in the corners and wins battles, and goes right to the front of the net. Our defense works hard. I like our team.
