  1. Live in Atlanta. Went to the Vegas game a couple of weeks ago. I've been to Nashville, Florida and LA in past seasons. Nashville is always a great atmosphere and not a bad ride from Atlanta.
  2. Perreault was my first. Mogilny is my all-time favorite. He could do things with his speed no one else seemed to be doing at that time. A breath of fresh air. Not unlike, Gilbert in his day, every time he touched the puck you had the potential of a highlight reel play.
  3. Gretzky Sakic Lafleur Lysiak Lidstrom
  4. The continued development of our young core and lots more W's.
  5. I'll go with Jamie Benn. Can do a bit of everything. Anyone else notice that he seems to have the wide base and stride of Perrault? Not saying he was as fluid, just that his posture reminds me of Gilbert.
  6. What is the max we could pay Stamkos annually? Thoughts on giving him a shorter five year max deal in the 12 mill range, to avoid cap issues when Eichel and Rinehart need their big raises. Stamkos would be 31 or 32 when that deal ended and he could score big again with someone else.
  7. My hope is that Pysyk becomes Niklas Hjarlmasson. Solid 2nd pairing guy. Completely underrated because of Keith and Seabrook.
  8. If the Sabres were to trade with Edmonton and get the 3rd pick in the draft (giving them #2 and #3), what would you be comfortable parting with (picks, players)? Who would you like to see them take?
  9. I've always worn 9. Still do. As a kid, I was partial to 11 because of Perrault but when I started playing sports I picked up 9 and stuck with it. I'm not a fan of the 50-70's numbers. Just doesn't seem right. It surprises me that teams with less history have their guys in those types of numbers when they could be in the more classic lower numbers.
  10. Not sold on Callahan based on his injury history and age. Girgensons is Callahan 2.0 and eight years younger. In two more seasons Girgensons will be exactly what Callahan was in his prime. I can wait.
  11. FWIW, as of 9:47am, Straw is saying Miller to Minnesota for Heatley, and or Granlund or Coyle and Minn 1st round pick.
