GDT - Boston Bruins v. Buffalo Sabres - January 5, 2019 - 7:00

Dahlin brings hope and offensive skills even if he is a defensive liability. He sells tickets. There is no way he was going to AHL unless we wanted to tank again. -

I also don’t understand why Dahlin isn’t playing with Bogosian. He seemed comfortable on the left side with Bogo. -

Pilut is much older than Dahlin. When Dahlin is 22 he will be a superstar. He needs to grow into his body and learn the NHL game. -

Did Housley spend some of that time at center? I know at some point he was moved off the blue line, I’m just not sure when. -

If we could only figure out a a way to get rid of Okposos contract our cap would be in great shape. -

I’m thinking Skinner isn’t signing for less than 8 years 70 million -

I would really like to jettison Tennyson from the lineup. He has been playing far too much. -

I was unable to decipher how many of his 18ev points occurred without Eichel. Please enlighten me. -

I agree that on his current contract he's fine. However he is useless at even strength without Jack. I'm concerned that with his inflated numbers from being with Jack and on the power play will result in an Okposo type deal which would be terrible. Pommers numbers get similarly inflated and you see what happens when he gets moved off of Jacks line. -

Do we have anyone who can score even strength goals when they are not on Jacks wing? This includes Skinner and Samson. -

And they’re doing it without PK -
My prized Sabres memorabilia was a black and white 8 x 10 photo of Gilbert Perreault that he personally autographed for me. I had knocked on his house door on ranch trail about 1974. He was very friendly even with the doorbell ringing nonstop He was living with Gerry Desjardins at the time. They took turns answering the door and giving autographs to all the neighborhood kids. Unfortunately this irreplaceable item was stolen from me by our moderator N Freeman many years ago and I may have to visit NYC to take back my prized possession

Signing Pomminstein would be a colossal mistake. We can put anyone on a line with Jack and Skinny and they will get points. Younger cheaper faster or if you want old and slow put okposo there since we’re stuck with him. There are youngsters in Rochester that need a look.

If they get Weber healthy and Price stays healthy and Mete develops they could make the playoffs
-
Kotkaniemi is a stud and Tatar, Drouin, and Domi have played very well. They have some young talent.
-
Bergevin has really done a great job recently. Clearly hes made some boneheaded moves in the past but the Habs look fast and young and are playing great hockey. What a turn a round.

I think the expectations for Dahlin have been completely unrealistic. There hasn't been an 18 year old impactful defenseman since Bobby Orr.
-
Agreed and that retribution will come from Tage Thompson in a big way.

This is an ignorant opinion from someone who has undoubtedly spent very little time in Chicago and has not had Giordanos or Lou Malnattis pizza. Also it reflects the NYC snobbery where only the best can be in Manhattan or Brooklyn an nothing else compares.

1. I wish Sully and Bucky were still around to comment on this epic disaster of a trade. 2. Once Sabres are eliminated from playoffs by Thanksgiving, the call to fire Housley will be overwhelming 3. The thing about being a sabres fan is that its always important to scout who will be top players at next; years draft..I'm excited for Jack Hughes

I’m really gonna miss Kane. He was exciting and tough and always gave 110 percent. He was our best or second best player and I hope we resign him in free agency

According to Ecklund, Sabres very interested in Tyson Barrie.
