Again. The youngest goalie prospect in the system is 23--if you even consider him to be a prospect. I don't, for reasons explained elsewhere. (Summary: UPL is either NHL-ready or not at this point.) They can trade for RHD prospects.

At this point, I'd even take Kuemper. Again, Adams is winning the slow bicycle race while everyone else is in the velodrome. I want to be clear: I like some of Adams's moves. Maybe even most of them. But this repulsion towards acquiring NHL-ready goaltenders is maddening.

So do I...but a goalie pick after Round 1 isn't a waste of a pick, ever. Especially with this team that has no prospects in net.

Neither of these is a bad idea. Campbell will be tradeable when Levi arrives and Holtby at that range is not cost- or term-prohibitive.

He'll take time to develop. He may or may not bounce around. He probably won't. Goalies do take time to develop, which is why it's criminal that the Sabres have only one prospect under contract, and he's as NHL-ready as he's going to be, so that means he's not really a prospect anymore.

So I've got three of these scored already, and then I get to @dudacek's unenumerated short answer format, which is entertaining but making me dizzy... So far, I have @mjd1001leading with 38, followed by @GASabresIUFAN with 37 and @thewookie1at 36 using the original scoring system. If people without numbers want to edit their posts and put numbers in, that would help a lot!

Don't care. They have exactly 1 possible future NHL goalie in the system right now. Any other use of the pick is only a 25% shot anyway.
