  1. Skinner seems a little like the sensitive type. I think a good performance of "Let It Go" might move him.
  2. 2021-22 Sabres could be a playoff team in that division.
  3. Yep, it's the equivalent of matching the Vanek offer sheet. (Which I maintain Regier absolutely had to do.)
  4. Yeah but he doesn't post here anymore.
  5. Nope. And they did add Weegar. That, I suppose, is something. Their best goaltender couldn't wash Don Edwards's gloves, though, and although they're in the weakest division in the league, that division still does have McDavid. I really think they peaked a couple of months ago.
  6. He's an *****.
  7. If Calgary is all in now, it's all in with a pair of twos. Calgary doesn't need a complete teardown like Chicago does now or Florida likely will in a couple of years, but it needs to retool. They look like the 2007 or maybe even 2010 Sabres to me, and I'm not sure they're going to make the right moves (as the Sabres didn't). This past season was their best shot for a while, IMO.
  8. Dunno, then. Maybe I don't know how to work twitter properly.
  9. Yep. Like several people, I think starting with @LGR4GM in the other thread, have stated, this is it for Florida. They're all in for the next two years, and then they're going to have some work to do. Unless stupid teams start taking contracts off their hands--and even then, no picks, as you say.
  10. That would have been fun to watch!
  11. Like Taro said, not in the NHL, at least not "most likely."
  12. Yeah, but it doesn't say "Around the CHL 2003," either. He might have a point.
  13. Why does this division have to keep getting harder and harder?
  14. Oh, what's the point, really?
  15. Again, this is just me... Just as there are a lot of reasons to consider whether a victim is telling the truth about something more recent, there also are a lot of reasons to consider a victim who was harmed in the past. It is difficult for victims to come forward, and it is something that maybe a younger person can't handle. I know a lot of alleged victims and a lot of alleged perpetrators. I know that some of them (both groups) weren't believed, and I know that some of them were (again, both groups), and their experiences are just as divergent. Again, it's a weird tightrope. That the guys currently accused followed the accepted protocol of recording consent, well, that only makes me sad for everyone--I do mean everyone--involved.
  16. IIRC, according to the NHL's definition, which was widely accepted AND respected here at the time, Toronto didn't even make the playoffs just two years ago. With that market, they are a joke. They're like the 1980s Yankees or the current Dallas Cowboys.
  17. Not really. And is another AHLer really "something?" Plus the Sabres still have his rights. It's ok to not like Adams without *looking for* reasons to not like Adams, you know?
  18. She is one of those people I've heard of, but I have absolutely no idea who she is, what she does (although I'm sure it's some form of entertainment), or how old she is or where she's from. 50 year old cooking show host from Scotland? 25 year old country music artist from Kentucky? 35 year old comedian from South Africa? No idea. So I'll have to google her.
  19. At BEST at best. More likely a swap for another AHL player, IMO.
  20. The Swiss league isn't KHL caliber, though. Maybe he will want more of a challenge.
  21. It begins here:
  22. Yes. Go back to the tweet and see what he is quoting. He quotes three tweets by a person (a friend maybe or another sportswriter, I don't know) and puts his survey on top of it.
  23. He is reacting to another tweet from someone who had to cut his brother out of his life.
  24. Daigle was charged forever ago.
