  1. My favorite Canadian bar was Maxine's in Fort Erie. Oh, you meant CANDY bar.
  2. He does have a long track record of getting to a certain point and failing miserably. Hence why he's got a long resume and not coaching now. Hiring Boudreau is analogous to the Bills hiring Rex Ryan. You should also pay attention to Bruce's comments on hockey media regarding the Sabres.
  3. Or trade him and let his new team decide? I have a feeling his neck will start feeling better soon there after.
  4. I get we all hate Terry and Kim, but be serious for a moment. They own the flippin' team. Why wouldn't they have the right to know what's happening with the Sabres?
  5. Well how good/bad this is depends on what the pricing will be. Right now I have a $12/mo bundle of Disney/Hulu/ESPN+. NHL.tv cost me $120/season. So if my bundle price holds steady then I'm fine. I get me Sabres and all UB sports too.
  6. I'm at the new Polar Park in Worcester tonight watching the Bisons. They did a great job with it.

  8. You have to use the MLB Ballpark app to manage your tickets. It does allow you to transfer so, yeah, I guess you could scalp them. But you can only transfer to another person with that app. In fact, as in my case, I was getting tickets for a group of friends, I have to transfer their tickets to their phones in order enter. You also have to present your vaxx card to gain admittance. But if you buy unvaxxed section seats you don't have to show anything. Just walk in. If you try to buy tomorrow, you'll see buttons for vaxxed and unvaxxed fans.
  9. Is it too much to ask podcasters to not record their shows in a bathroom? Anyone ever hear of acoustic tile?
  10. The 4-seat pod thing didn't exist in the vaxxed sections. You can buy any number of seats available.
  11. I got my tix for the Astros Sat & Sun. Weekday prices run $56-90. Yankee games were $102-206!! Very limited seating. Looks like the saved 2/3 of the stadium for the unvaxxed. Pickings were already slim. I doubt anything will be left tomorrow.
  12. Everyone is asking about what the Jays will charge. I went to their website and looked up what they are charging for games in Dunedin. Tickets range between $44 to $66. They might change more in the best sections but because those are were sold out I couldn't see what they cost. They also might charge a premium for Yankees and Red Sox games.
  13. Go to you friendly neighborhood Oriental grocery store and find these tiny cans of Thai curry. They come in red, green, yellow, Panang and Massaman styles. Also pick up a can of coconut milk and a bottle of fish sauce. Then stir-fry any combo of vegetables and meats, add in a heaping spoon of Thai curry, a splash of fish sauce and coconut milk. The secret of eating light is cooking with vibrant flavors and a bit of spicy heat. I also recommend Mother-in-Law brand garlic Gochujang sauce if you can find it. Really brings flavorful heat. Put it on any meat. A teaspoon with a little oil makes a great marinade.
  14. I can see that. The difference here is the play of Mitts, Tage, Asplund, etc. Players that did zippo under every other big deal coach we had. Along comes Donnie Meatballs and it's like someone flipped a switch.
  15. What I'm wondering is how many vaccinated sections will they have? Those can be full. If they made it vaxx-only they could sell the entire stadium.
  16. Even when the larger sample skews your data inaccurately? Did you really expect Granato to take over from Krueger and install his system and start racking up wins day one? With no time for a practice? The end of the streak is a better gauge because he had some time to get players doing it his way. But I get it. I've been here long enough. It's more fun to watch Pegula to hire another expensive dud.
  17. I said after the 18-game losing streak. I also mean .500 points percentage, so that includes OT losses.
  18. Bills season ticket holders should have gotten an email today. They are now part of the Blue Jays ticket presale on Wednesday at 10am.
  19. The point was even with a train wreck of a team Granato got them playing near .500.
  20. Yes. With castoffs and AHL players. After an 18- game skid where the whole team was read to walk off a cliff.
